Setup guide: How to build the Theo Darkblend

Theo is a darkblend and tolerates heat very well. Depending on your preferences, we recommend the following setups:

  • Maximum intensity (multi-hole head): Use a solid clay bowl (e.g. Cosmo Bowl) and let the tobacco fall in loosely (fluffy). With a smokebox (HMD) and 3 coals, the full power and earthy flavor of the Burley unfolds.
  • Smooth smoking (Phunnel): If you like things a little more relaxed, build Theo into a Phunnel (e.g. Vandenberg) and press it minimally (semi-dense). The focus is then fully on the sweet aromas.
