The production of hookah tobacco is a complex process. The tobacco is first dried, cut and then mixed with glycerine and molasses to give it its moist consistency. Various flavors are then added before the tobacco is left to mature for several weeks to allow the flavors to fully develop.
Shisha tobacco contains different amounts of nicotine depending on the base tobacco used. Because it has been washed several times, Virginia tobacco is milder and contains less nicotine than conventional cigarettes. There are around 10mg of nicotine in 20g of Virginia tobacco. Shisha tobacco is subject to tobacco tax in Germany. The tax rate is calculated per kilogram and is already included in the sales price. All tobacco sold at HookahX is properly taxed and bears the German tax stamp.
Depending on the size of your head, you will need between 10 and 20 grams of shisha tobacco per head. A standard phunnel holds approx. 15g. With a 200g can you get around 10-15 sessions. With a multi-hole head, consumption is slightly lower.
