This is how you find the right hose

For everyday use, a Silicone hose from MOZE or Luna completely – easy to clean, durable and colorful. Anyone who places more value on Look and feel value, reach for the THUNDER Slim. For multi-hose shishas we recommend the 4-pack for a uniform design.

Tip: Rinse the hose with warm water after every session and hang it upright to dry. This prevents flavor residue and mold growth.

Buying guide: what matters in a hose

  • Draw: How easily the shisha draws depends mainly on the inner diameter of stem, downstem and hose – not on the height of the shisha.
  • Material: Silicone can be rinsed as often as you like, is neutral in taste and hygienic. Never clean leather hoses with water.
  • Several hoses: Seal unused ports with Valve balls – otherwise the shisha draws in false air.

How often should I change the hose?

With good care, silicone hoses last 6–12 months. If you notice a lingering taste or the hose becomes brittle, it's time for a new one.

What length is ideal?

150 cm is standard and fits most setups. Shorter hoses offer slightly less draw resistance, longer ones more comfort while seated.

Can I put silicone hoses in the dishwasher?

Yes, most silicone hoses are dishwasher-safe. Still, we recommend hand washing to maximize lifespan.
