Why regular cleaning is important

Tobacco residue, molasses and limescale build up over time in the bowl, smoke column and hose. This leads to bad taste, less smoke and, in the worst case, mold formation. After every session you should rinse your shisha at least with warm water – we recommend a thorough cleaning with brushes at least once a week.

Tip: The cleaning balls are a gamechanger for bowls with a narrow neck! Just add warm water and a bit of dish soap to the bowl, shake, done. Removes even stubborn residue.

How often should I clean my shisha?

Ideally, rinse with warm water after every session. We recommend a thorough cleaning with brushes once a week with regular use.

Can I use dish soap?

Yes, a mild dish soap is fine. Important: rinse thoroughly so no soapy taste remains. Warm water is enough for the smoke column.

How do I clean my HMD?

Use the HMD steel brush for burnt-on tobacco. For heavy buildup, soak the HMD overnight in water with citric acid, then brush.
