Cleaning & care: how to keep your XKAH like new
Molasses residue and condensation accumulate during every session. To keep the electronics protected and the taste pure, regular cleaning is essential.
🧼 The 4-step quick guide:
- Remove the lid: Remove the lid from the capsule carrier.
- Rinse the capsule carrier: Simply rinse the capsule holder under warm water (like a normal head).
- Clean the heating plate: Use a Cotton buds, to carefully remove condensation from the edge of the heating plate.
- Check connection pins: The silver contact pins must always be clean and dry! Clean them regularly with a dry cloth or cotton bud.
⚠️ Important: If your XKAH does not turn on, it is 99% due to dirty pins. A quick clean usually solves the problem immediately!

Will the XKAH Pro fit on my hookah?
Yes, the XKAH Pro is supplied with a universal silicone adapter. This fits almost any standard shisha pipe. You simply attach the device to the smoke column instead of your normal bowl.
How long does a battery last when smoking?
A full battery lasts for
about 2 heads (sessions). The exact running time naturally depends on the selected heat level.

Does it taste different than with coal?
The taste is purer and more intensebecause no carbon flavors (or ash) distort the aroma. You taste the tobacco pure. As there is no combustion (no CO), the "dizziness" feeling (headache) is often absent.
Which tobacco is best suited?
The XKAH can cope with almost any tobacco. It performs particularly well with moist Virginia or heat-resistant darkblend. As you can set the temperature to the exact degree, even sensitive tobacco will no longer burn.
My device won't turn on, what should I do?
