What is the XKAH Pro 1.1? (Functionality)

The XKAH Pro is a Electronic shisha head, which is operated with a powerful rechargeable battery. Instead of putting on coal, you simply fill your favorite tobacco into the special Stainless steel pods (depots), place them in the device and press Start.

The intelligent control system heats the tobacco precisely to the perfect temperature. The result: consistent smoke, intense flavor and no more burning.

Technically all devices are identical (version 1.1, same performance, same battery). The difference is in the finish:

  • Per graphite – Matt anthracite. The timeless classic, fits every shisha.

NEW: The XKAH Lite – plug-in power instead of battery

With the XKAH Lite there's the second device line from XKAH: same coal-free heating technology, same pod system – but instead of a swappable battery, the Lite runs permanently on the 120-watt power supply with a magnetic plug. No charging, no session breaks: plug in, switch on, smoke. It's controlled via a rotary dial with Auto mode and manual temperature selection from 260 to 310 °C, an ambient light shows heating status – the Lite deliberately does without a display.

The Lite is smaller and lighter than the Pro, does without hinge mechanics (the cap is removed and locked) and uses exactly the same tobacco pods as the XKAH Pro – existing pod accessories still fit, then. With around 10 g of tobacco per session instead of 20–25 g in a classic head, it also smokes noticeably more economically. It's designed for anyone who enjoys their shisha in one fixed spot: desk, living room or balcony with a power outlet.

Technically identical (same heating system, same pods) – the difference is the finish:

Cleaning & care: how to keep your XKAH like new

Molasses residue and condensation accumulate during every session. To keep the electronics protected and the taste pure, regular cleaning is essential.

With the XKAH Lite the same principle applies here in simplified form: The tobacco pods are dishwasher-safe, the cap and silicone seals can be removed, and you wipe the housing down with a damp cloth – the device itself should never go underwater.

🧼 The 4-step quick guide:

  1. Remove the lid: Remove the lid from the capsule carrier.
  2. Rinse the capsule carrier: Simply rinse the capsule holder under warm water (like a normal head).
  3. Clean the heating plate: Use a Cotton buds, to carefully remove condensation from the edge of the heating plate.
  4. Check connection pins: The silver contact pins must always be clean and dry! Clean them regularly with a dry cloth or cotton bud.

⚠️ Important: If your XKAH does not turn on, it is 99% due to dirty pins. A quick clean usually solves the problem immediately!

Will the XKAH Pro fit on my hookah?

Yes, the XKAH Pro is supplied with a universal silicone adapter. This fits almost any standard shisha pipe. You simply attach the device to the smoke column instead of your normal bowl.

What is the difference between XKAH Pro and XKAH Lite?

The Per runs with a swappable battery and display – built for on the go. The Lite runs exclusively on the power cable (120 W power supply with magnetic plug), is controlled via a rotary dial with auto mode and 260–310 °C, and is built smaller, lighter and without a hinge. The tobacco pods are identical on both. In short: Pro for on the go, Lite for a fixed spot at home.

Does the XKAH Lite need a battery?

No – the Lite has no battery at all by design. It stays permanently connected to the included 120 W power supply (magnetic connector, 1.50 m cable) and thereby delivers sessions with no time limit: no charging, no battery swap. In return it needs an outlet within reach – for on the go, the XKAH Pro is the right choice.

Do the XKAH Pro pods also fit in the Lite?

Yes, the tobacco pods of Pro and Lite are identical in construction. Anyone who already owns a Pro can use their complete pod accessories – including Replacement pod pack of 2 – use in both devices.

How long does a battery last when smoking?

A full battery lasts for about 2 heads (Sessions). Of course, the exact running time depends on the heat level selected. With ours Bundle sets You always have a second battery ready so you can continue smoking straight away. For maximum replenishment, the original batteries are now also available XKAH Pro Battery Pack of 2 – two batteries in a set, cheaper than buying twice individually.

Does it taste different than with coal?

The tobacco doesn't pick up any charcoal aftertaste, because no charcoal sits above it and no ash falls into the flavor – you taste the flavor pure. And because nothing burns, no carbon monoxide is produced either.

Which tobacco is best suited?

The XKAH can handle almost any tobacco. It performs particularly well with moist Virginia or heat-resistant dark blend. Since you can adjust the temperature to the exact degree, even sensitive tobacco no longer burns.

Which color goes with which setup?

Graphite and Silver are the universal all-rounders - fit on every shisha and in every setup. Blue looks elegant in combination with silver or blue shisha colors. Pink is the statement piece for everyone who consciously wants to stand out. There is no technical difference – the decision is purely optical.

My device won't turn on, what should I do?

Don't panic! There is usually only a thin film of molasses on the contact pins. Take a cotton bud, clean the pins at the base and on the capsule carrier thoroughly and try again. You can find out more in our Blog post.
