Lighting Magic Charcoal correctly

Natural charcoal needs an electric charcoal lighter or a gas burner, a lighter is not enough. Place the cubes on the lighter and turn them until all sides are evenly grey. Only then do they go on the bowl, half-glowing charcoal spoils the taste.

For HMD setups 2–3 cubes are usually enough. Better start with less charcoal and add more if needed, that way you avoid burnt tobacco. You can find more natural charcoal and lighters in the category Coal.

💡 Money-saving tip for heavy smokers and lounges: In the 20 kg set or in the 10 kg pack the price per kilo is lower than for a single 1 kg box. The boxes stay protected until you open them.
