Heating plate or whirlpool?

One heating plate is simple and tried and tested - put the money on it, wait, and you're done. A Hot tub lighter The coal glows through hot air from all sides at the same time, which leads to more even glow and shortens the waiting time. A heating plate is enough to get you started; those who sit a lot benefit from the whirlpool.

Frequently asked questions about charcoal lighters

How long does it take for the coal to burn through?

For 1000 W heating plates approx. 8-10 minutes, for whirlpool models approx. 5-8 minutes. The coal must be completely gray/white before it goes on the shisha.

Can I use a regular kitchen stove?

Only with ceramic hob or gas stove - induction stoves do not work with shisha charcoal. However, a dedicated charcoal lighter is recommended to protect the stove.

Gas or electric – which is better for on the go?

The gas charcoal lighter is ideal for on the go as it does not require a socket. For home use, electric models are more convenient and cheaper to operate.
