Adalya Love 66 – 200g shisha tobacco

Adalya Love 66 200g has been one of the best-selling fruity shisha tobaccos on the German market for years. The combination of ripe honeydew melon, juicy watermelon and a subtle passion fruit accent makes it a reliable all-rounder for sessions without menthol cooling. Love 66 is made by Adalya in Turkey on a Virginia tobacco base with a fine to medium cut and a well-moistened molasses.

HookahX tester impression

In our test, Love 66 has a dominant watermelon flavor in the first 10 minutes, and from around minute 15 the honeydew melon comes to the fore. The passion fruit remains in the background as a fine acidic note - it does not overpower the melon profile, but rather rounds it off. This means that the tobacco still seems fresh and not overly candied even after 45 minutes.

Aroma profile in comparison (1-5 scale)

• Sweetness: 4/5 — noticeably sweet, but not sugar-loaded
• Acid: 2/5 — very subtle thanks to the passion fruit
• Freshness: 1/5 — no cooling effect, no menthol
• Strength (nicotine): 2/5 — gentle, suitable for beginners
• Smoke development: 4/5 — dense, even clouds

HookahX setup recommendation for Love 66

From our tests, the values that work reliably for Love 66:

• Head: Phunnel medium size (15-20 g tobacco volume) - cleanly collects the moist molasses
• Money: 2 natural charcoal cubes 25 mm (e.g. coconut shell)
• Set up: With HMD or Smokebox work - Love 66 is sensitive to heat spikes, otherwise the passion fruit note will burn
• Heat up: approx. 8-10 minutes with full coals, then reduce to 1.5 coals
• Session length: 60-75 minutes with a stable taste - Love 66 keeps the flavors for a long time
• Filling: Place the tobacco in an airy manner, do not press it firmly (molasses circulation)
