Are KONG heads compatible with HMDs and smokeboxes?

Yes! All KONG heads are optimized for use with HMDs (Heat Management Devices) and smokeboxes. The Killer line in particular was developed specifically for smokebox setups.

Which KONG head is right for me?

That depends on your setup: For classic smoking with aluminum foil or HMD, you use it Kong Turkish. If you use a smokebox, that is Kong Killer ideal. There is one for Phunnel fans Kong Phunnel with particularly even heat distribution.

How much tobacco fits in a KONG bowl?

Most KONG Turkish bowls hold around 15g of tobacco, which is enough for an extensive session. The Killer Bowls and the Panda are designed to be more economical and are perfect for solo rounds with less tobacco consumption.

Why do some KONG heads only have 4 holes instead of 5?

Since each KONG head is handmade, the number of holes may vary slightly. Some heads have 4 holes, others 5 - this is specified by the manufacturer and does not negatively affect the quality of smoke. It is not a defect, but part of the craftsmanship.

Do I have to smoke a KONG bowl?

No! Because it is fired at over 1200°C, the clay has a neutral taste from the first use. You can use your KONG bowl straight from the packaging without having to smoke it first.
