Urb Bowl offers several head series that differ in shape, depot size and intended use:

⭐ Kilo series – The flagship with an innovative double depot (5–13 g). Two concentric circles allow you to use the inner depot, the outer depot or both together. Perfect for flexible heat management with HMD. Available as Kilo Crackle and Kilo Egyptian Grunge.

⭐ Pyra series – With a height of approx. 10 cm, the pyramid-shaped version with a compact 8 g depot. Ideal for short, intensive sessions with little tobacco use. Available as Pyra Iron and Pyra Cereal.

⭐ Globe series – Round killer bowl shape with 12 g depot. The multi-hole base ensures even heat distribution and intense taste. Available as Globe Green and Globe Cereal.

⭐ Chubs series – Compact all-rounder with approx. 10 g depot. As Phunnel and Killer Bowl Available – the right setup for every style.

⭐ Mushroom & Whirl – Special shapes with 12-14 g depot. The Mushroom Bumble impresses with its characteristic mushroom shape and large deposit (14 g). Whirl Amber with elegant swirl design and 12g capacity.

Why Urb Bowl?

What sets Urb Bowl apart from other manufacturers is the combination American handmade and sophisticated functional design. Each head is made, glazed and fired individually - this means that no two pieces are exactly alike. The glazes range from earthy natural colors to eye-catching patterns such as crackle, grunge or cereal.

Performance is always in the foreground: the depot sizes are precisely coordinated (from an economical 5 g to a generous 14 g), the dimensions fit common HMDs and aluminum foil setups, and the sound mix ensures even heat retention. So you get rich clouds, full flavor and long sessions.

💡 Tip: If you want to optimize your Urb Bowl setup, combine the head with a high quality one HMD attachment for even heat without aluminum foil. The Kilo series with its double depot is particularly suitable for experiments with different types of tobacco in the same bowl!

Phunnel or Killer Bowl – Which is right for you?

Urb Bowl offers both bowl types, and the choice depends on your smoking style:

• Phunnel heads (Kilo, Pyra, Mushroom, Whirl, Chubs Phunnel): A central chimney prevents molasses from running into the smoke column. Ideal for moist tobaccos and long sessions with a consistent taste.
• Killer bowls / multi-hole bowls (Globe, Chubs Killerbowl): Several small holes in the bottom ensure direct heat transfer. Perfect for smokers who prefer a more intense, direct taste.

Where are Urb Bowl Shisha bowls made?

All Urb Bowl heads are made by hand in the USA. Each piece is unique and may have slight variations in color and pattern - this is a quality feature of handcrafting.

Are Urb Bowl heads compatible with my HMD?

Yes! All Urb Bowl models are designed for both aluminum foil setups and HMDs (Heat Management Devices). The depot diameter of approx. 5.8 cm fits most common attachments.

How much tobacco fits in an Urb Bowl bowl?

That depends on the series: The Pyra holds approx. 8 g, Chubs approx. 10 g, Globe and Whirl approx. 12 g, Pilz approx. 14 g and the Kilo series holds 5-13 g depending on whether you only use one depot or both.

What is special about the Kilo series?

The Kilo series has a unique double depot design with two concentric circles. You can fill the inner depot (small circle) individually, use only the outer one or combine both. This gives you maximum flexibility in tobacco and heat control.

Phunnel or Killerbowl – which is better for moist tobacco?

For moist tobaccos we recommend a phunnel bowl (e.g. Kilo, Pyra, Whirl or Pilz). The central chimney prevents molasses from dripping into the smoke column. Killer bowls are more suitable for drier tobaccos or if you prefer a more intense, direct taste.

Can I choose different colors and glazes?

Urb Bowl is known for its variety of glazes - from Olive Green to Egyptian Magma to Crackle and Cereal. Because each head is handmade, the colors and patterns are unique to each piece. In the shop you can see the available variants.

How do I properly care for my Urb Bowl head?

After each session, simply rinse your head with warm water and let it dry thoroughly. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents. Thanks to the high-quality glaze, the head can usually be cleaned without any problems. Occasional boiling in clear water removes stubborn residues.
