How long does it take to heat up?
Give it 3-5 minutes with the coals before you draw. Stainless steel is more sluggish than aluminum, but stores energy better.
Will a lid fit on it?
No, the MAXX Crown is designed as an open system. The enormous heat storage makes a lid superfluous.
Does the handle get hot?
Since the entire block is made of stainless steel: Yes. Only touch it with tongs during operation.
