The HX Windbreak Charcoal Grid Small is the clean solution for glowing shisha coals on the table. It protects the embers from drafts, keeps them safely away from table surfaces and fingers - and at the same time looks much tidier than a wild plate of ash.
Stainless steel & well thought-out construction
Made of heat-resistant stainless steel — corrosion-resistant, rust-proof and durable. The base is designed so that enough air gets under the coals (for even glowing), but at the same time nothing falls on the table.
Choose the right size
The wind protection is available in two versions:
- Small — for 1-2 people or compact home setups, approximately 12-15 cube capacity.
- Large — for 2-4 people, long sessions or shisha bars, approx. 25-30 cube capacity.

What is the HX wind protection carbon grille used for?
The windshield protects your glowing coals from drafts and accidental touches — while also protecting your table from ash splashes. Ideal for outdoor sessions, but also provides a clean, safe charcoal tray indoors.
When do I need the small version?
The Small is designed to hold approximately 12-15 cubes and is suitable for 1-2 people or compact home setups. If you rarely have several coals glowing at the same time, the small is sufficient.
What material is the windbreak made of?
Stainless steel with heat-resistant construction. Corrosion-resistant, rust-proof and durable. The bottom is designed so that it does not scratch your table.
Does the windshield itself get hot?
The floor stays lukewarm because it is well ventilated. The upper bars get hot - do not touch them while the coals are glowing. After 5-10 minutes of cooling down, it can be touched again.
How do I clean the charcoal grid basket?
After cooling, use warm water and a soft brush. Ash residue comes off easily. If the crust is more severe, soak it briefly in vinegar water.
