With a height of 20 cm and a weight of 360 g, it offers stability and safety for every session. Ideal as a functional and visual upgrade for your setup.
The ONMO Mesh Cover in Silver stands for exactly what the ONMO brand is known for: uncompromising quality and well-thought-out functionality in combination with a chic design and an excellent price-performance ratio. This charcoal protection grid reliably ensures that your glowing coals stay securely in place and cannot accidentally fall off your head.
A special visual highlight are the striking cutouts in the metal. These are a direct reference to the well-known diamond pattern inside the popular ONMO HMD and give the cover a state-of-the-art look that immediately enhances your setup and forms a visual unity with other ONMO products.
Design & Function
- Open mesh structure: The coarse-mesh wire mesh insert in the lower area ensures ideal and even air circulation. This means the heat doesn't build up uncontrollably, while safety is always maintained.
- High quality material: Made from 1 mm thick stainless steel (silver), the cover is extremely robust, dimensionally stable and designed to last.
- Perfect dimensions: With a height of 20 cm and a weight of approx. 360 g, it generously encloses common head setups and stands securely on the coal plate thanks to its own weight.
Important safety notice
Attention: The ONMO Wind Mesh is made entirely of metal and absorbs the heat from the coals. It gets very hot during use. Please never touch it with your bare hands during or shortly after a session as there is an acute risk of burns. Always use coal tongs for moving.

What is the ONMO Mesh Cover Silver?
The ONMO Mesh Cover (Silver) is a mesh cover for the ONMO HMD system. It protects the tobacco from direct coal contact and ensures indirect, even heat distribution - similar to the principle of a smokebox, but specifically tailored to ONMO.
Which system is the Mesh Cover made for?
The Mesh Cover is designed for the ONMO HMD system. It fits on the ONMO frame and replaces the need for aluminum foil - just put it on, put the coal on it, and you're done.
How do I clean the ONMO Mesh Cover?
Rinse with warm water after the session. If there is more residue, it can be cleaned with a soft brush. Soaking with vinegar every now and then removes incrustations. The stainless steel mesh is durable and rustproof.
What money for the ONMO setup?
Natural charcoal from coconut shell, 26mm or 27mm. 27mm is optimal for the ONMO frames - they fill the space and ensure the best heat distribution.
What color is the Mesh Cover Silver?
The mesh grid is colored silver - optically matches the respective ONMO color variant. The coloring is high quality and scratch-resistant.
Why mesh instead of aluminum foil?
Mesh is reusable (saves waste), has a constant hole size (even heat), and does not burn. Aluminum foil, on the other hand, has to be thrown away after every session and can become punctured if it is too hot.
