UNION HOOKAH – Fibonacci – Diamant – Pie

The UNION HOOKAH Fibonacci Diamant is the Fibonacci with a stone setting: the sleeve in the middle of the stainless steel stem is densely covered with hand-set stones that imitate diamond crystals. In the Pie edition, the stainless steel stays silver and the stones are white. The Diamant is a brand-new design in the Fibonacci series – in Germany you can get it exclusively at HookahX, and we currently have only very few pieces.

The Fibonacci is the flagship model of UNION HOOKAH. It takes its name from the Fibonacci sequence: the heights of individual parts correspond to the numbers 34, 55, 89, 144 and 233. It is supplied as a stem set with diffuser, hose and mouthpiece; the stem is pushed into the bowl with seals, and you choose the bowl yourself.

Design & workmanship: stone setting in Pie

The Diamant line draws on the Italian school of jewellers, where every stone is set individually by hand. On the Fibonacci Diamant, the stones sit in three places: on the sleeve of the stem, on the middle section of the mouthpiece and on the rings of the ports at the base. Fine dark gaps remain between the stones, so the individual facets stand out from one another.

Beneath the decoration, the Fibonacci remains a stainless steel stem, with the lettering “fibonacci” on the base ring. Because every stone is set by hand, the stone pattern looks slightly different on every piece; shade and saturation may also differ slightly from the photo.

The UNION HOOKAH Fibonacci Diamant has a 50.55 cm stainless steel stem, a charcoal tray with a diameter of 20 cm and a tube with an inner diameter of 10 mm.

Fibonacci Diamant or Fibonacci Oxyd?

We also carry the Fibonacci in the versions Oxyd Green and Oxyd Purple. The design is the same: stainless steel stem, base with ports and an insert in the middle section that is repeated on the mouthpiece. On the Oxyd models this insert has a coloured pattern and the port rings are bare metal. The Diamant carries the stone setting in all three places, extending the decoration down to the base. Matching accessories for the Fibonacci Diamant

To complete the shisha, you still need a bowl, head and charcoal, which you combine to suit your setup:

• Bowl for the Fibonacci Diamant: the stem is pushed into the bowl neck with seals. If you want to use a bowl you already own, write to us before ordering and we will advise you on the fit.
• Tobacco head for the Fibonacci Diamant: phunnel or multi-hole head, depending on how you pack your tobacco.
• Charcoal for the Fibonacci Diamant, plus, if you like, an HMD or a smokebox for more control over the heat.

Who is the Fibonacci Diamant for?

The Fibonacci Diamant is right for you if you are looking for a stainless steel shisha that puts design first and you prefer to put together the bowl and head yourself. It is also interesting for collectors: a brand-new design, available in Germany only at HookahX and currently in very few pieces. The diffuser in the set makes the session quieter and the draw softer.

It is less suitable if you are looking for a complete set that is ready to go without extra parts, or you often transport your shisha – the stone setting needs careful handling. If you want a particularly light, airy draw, go for a larger cross-section: the tube of the Fibonacci Diamant has an inner diameter of 10 mm, the lower end of the usual range of 10 to 14 mm. If you want the Fibonacci design without stones, choose the Fibonacci Oxyd Green.

Care & construction

The stem is pushed in with seals, not screwed. Stainless steel is almost rust-free and taste-neutral: after the session, rinse the stem and diffuser with clear, warm water and let everything dry. Water containing chlorine or salt can leave surface rust on stainless steel.

The stone setting is done by hand and is a delicate decoration; how long it looks like new depends directly on how you handle it. Only wipe the sleeve, mouthpiece and port rings with a soft, slightly damp cloth and do not leave them in cleaning baths. Brushes, scouring agents, harsh cleaners and the dishwasher are off-limits, as are knocks and hard surfaces when you put it down.
