Darkside Xperience MNTSLIDE – 100g shisha tobacco

MNTSLIDE is the only fruit-free variety in the Xperience line and works with just two components: sweet bubble gum and cool mint. The chewing gum is not the fruity bubblegum type, but rather the soft, slightly powdery tone of a freshly torn strip. The mint does not come on at the same time, but rather with a delay and forms a cooling edge over the sweetness instead of covering it up. The whole thing is supported by a Burley-Virginia blend that doesn't take nicotine into account. If you are looking for a chilled all-day variety without fruit content, MNTSLIDE is the only option in the Xperience range.

HookahX tester impression

From the first puff, the bubblegum sweetness is at the forefront. The mint initially only works in the finish, but becomes significantly more present after about 20 minutes and from then on cools constantly up to the top. What is striking in comparison to pure menthol varieties: The coolness remains round and does not cut into the throat, which is why MNTSLIDE can still be smoked relaxed even after the second hour.

Aroma profile in comparison (1-5 scale)

• Sweetness: 4/5 — clear candy sweetness, which is cleanly limited by the mint
• Acid: 1/5 – no fruit, no acid; the profile is purely sweet-cool
• Freshness: 5/5 — the strongest cooling of the five Xperience varieties, constant from minute 20
• Strength (nicotine): 5/5 — Burley Virginia dark blend, manufacturer states “strong”
• Smoke development: 5/5 — the cool smoke has an additional voluminous effect because it is less irritating

HookahX setup recommendation for MNTSLIDE

• Head: Phunnel or Multi-hole head – MNTSLIDE is the only Xperience strain that runs well in both
• Money: 3 coconut charcoal cubes (25 mm) - the coolness hides heat, so don't add more
• Set up: Smokebox (HMD) – without heat control, the mint note burns first
• Heat up: around 4 minutes – shorter than with the fruit varieties
• Session length: 60 to 70 minutes
• Filling: Insert 15-18 g loosely and fluffily, do not press down

Suits you if...

• Suits you if: you are looking for a chilled all-day variety without fruit and you like sweetness that doesn't seem sticky.
• Less suitable if: you generally avoid cooling effects or expect fruit - MNTSLIDE has 5/5 freshness and no fruit content whatsoever.
• Alternative from our range: If you want pure coolness without sweetness: Darkside Core Supernova (Menthol, mint, 100 g).

Mix recommendations with other Darkside strains

When mixing, stay within the brand – all partners are in it Shisha tobacco-Range:

• Ice Slide: 70/30 in favor of MNTSLIDE with Darkside Core Supernova (Menthol, Mint) – advances the cooling from minute 20 to the first puff.
• Berry gum: 60/40 with Darkside Core Razz B (Raspberry) – the raspberry gives the chewing gum the fruity side that it alone lacks.
• Candy shop: 50/50 with Darkside Core Space J (Raspberry, Candy) – doubles the candy character and keeps the mint as a counterbalance.
• Cool Grape: 70/30 with Darkside Core Crystal Grp (Grape) – Grape and mint create a clear, almost lemonade profile.
