The Maklaud Amelia No. 5 is a declaration of love to that Golden Age of Aviation and a tribute to aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart. The model was released in February 2025 as a strictly limited collectible edition - only 50 copies worldwide, each individually numbered. The “No. 5” denotes copy 5 of this series.
The design combines one Bronze engine block on the base (whose engraving takes up the structure of an aircraft wing) with a mouthpiece in the shape of a retrosteering wheel. Material mix of AISI 304 stainless steel, bronze, porcelain, ash wood and real leather - a hookah that is more of a sculpture than a practical object. Delivered in a branded wooden box shaped like an aircraft fuselage.
