Amotion Roam – Midnight

The Amotion Roam Midnight is the travel shisha from Amotion in black: the body, lid and hose connection merge into one another in the same matt tone, so that the Roam looks like it is made from a single piece from top to bottom. It is 15.8 cm high, weighs 1,169 g and does not require any glass.

There is a stainless steel core on the inside and a soft-touch surface on the outside. You fill in water using the magnetic lid, the hose is connected to the bottom of the base, and you blow out stale smoke using the blow-off. The Roam comes pre-assembled and is immediately ready for use with a hose, mouthpiece and tobacco bowl.

Design & workmanship: Midnight completely in black

With the Midnight there is no color contrast between the body and the attachments: the lid and the hose connection are black powder-coated and merge seamlessly into the black soft-touch surface. The only difference is the hexagonal AMOTION emblem on the front and the vertical lettering on the side, both in gray. If you are looking for a matt black shisha without a color accent, you will find the most reserved version in the Roam series.

The soft-touch coating feels velvety and, according to Amotion, is intended to keep out dirt and scratches. Below it lies a stainless steel core, which makes up the majority of the 1,169 g. At the bottom, the body expands into a wide base with a hose connection and built-in silicone base. A wide footprint, a hose that pulls at the bottom and the weight of the stainless steel core - these are the three points with which Amotion bases the Roam's position.

Structure & functionality

Unlike a classic shisha, there is no glass bowl or column of smoke that you put together. The body absorbs the water itself; It is opened via the magnetic lid. Amotion specifies the capacity as 60-65 ml. Place the tobacco head on the black cone above the lid and insert the hose into the connection at the bottom of the base.

For blowing out the Roam has a blow-off, in which the smoke flows down the body. The shisha leaves the factory pre-assembled, so you don't assemble it from individual parts. What you need to add are the hose, mouthpiece, tobacco bowl, coal and tobacco.

Roam, FUTR or Doppler?

Within Amotion, the Roam is the travel model. The FUTR in Midnight wears the same soft-touch material and also black, but measures 43 cm, weighs 2.9 kg and comes with a glass bowl, hose and mouthpiece. The Doppler is 52 cm high and has two connections. If you are looking for a shisha for on the go and one for at home, you can combine Roam and FUTR in Midnight.

Who is the Roam Midnight suitable for?

The Midnight is aimed at smokers who don't want to go without a shisha on the go and value an inconspicuous, completely black device. It fits in a backpack, survives transport without breaking the glass, and thanks to its wide base and silicone base, it can also be placed on outdoor tables. Beginners benefit from the fact that it comes pre-assembled; The only important thing is to stick to the filling quantity. Further compact models are available below Travel shishas, the whole brand on the Amotion brand page.

Care & water level

The most important rule with the Roam is the capacity: 60-65 ml and no more. If the water is higher, it can rise into the head when it is blown out - a water level problem, not an appliance problem. After each session, empty the body using the magnetic lid and rinse it with clean water.

Fingerprints and dust are more noticeable on black; a damp microfiber cloth is sufficient for the soft-touch surface. No abrasive cleaners, no dishwasher. Check the seals from time to time to ensure the head and hose remain airtight.
