Amotion FUTR – Stone Shisha

The Amotion FUTR is the first medium-sized shisha from the Amotion label — before it, there was only the small travel shisha Roam. In Stone it wears a warm off-white on the matte soft-touch sleeve, a very light stone tone that leans toward beige rather than gray. Added to that are silver metal parts on the charcoal plate, hose connection and bowl mount. Hose, mouthpiece and seals are included in the same color tone, the bowl is made of glass.

Technically the FUTR is a one-person pipe: one hose connection, approx. 43 cm height, approx. 2.9 kg weight. Stainless steel, ABS, polycarbonate and silicone are used, the bowl is made of glass. The dip tube has a 13 mm inner diameter, the smoke column 11 mm. Bowl, hose, mouthpiece and the Perfect-Fit seals are already in the box — what's missing is the tobacco head.

Design & finish: Stone on soft-touch

Stone is a warm off-white, a very light stone tone with a hint of beige instead of gray. The tone sits on the soft-touch sleeve on the upper part of the smoke column: matte instead of glossy and velvety to the touch. The FUTR took this material over from the Amotion Roam. Below that follows a transparent section of the smoke column, and that's exactly where the graphic design sits: a field of diagonal stripes and the vertically set AMOTION lettering. That's the design difference to the smaller Roam.

The metal parts are silver throughout: the cone above the plate, the flat charcoal plate with a 16 cm diameter, the locking ring above the bowl, and the sideways-angled hose connection with a silver tip. The bowl is clear, colorless glass, flared tulip-shaped toward the bottom with a thick base; the silver dip tube stays visible through the glass. The included silicone hose carries the same stone tone, likewise the AMOTION lettering and silver end pieces, the mouthpiece is held in the same color and tapers into a silver tip.

Fully equipped from the factory

Amotion positions the FUTR as an all-inclusive shisha, and here that's meant literally: you don't need to buy a hose and mouthpiece separately, both are included — and color-matched to Stone instead of standard black. The same goes for the glass bowl with a 15 cm outer diameter and the Perfect Fit seals. With many shishas in this price range, the hose and mouthpiece are separate line items in your cart.

That leaves exactly one purchase to get started: a tobacco head. With Amotion it's deliberately not part of the set, and neither is the bowl coaster. Charcoal, charcoal tongs and a heat management device or HMD are added if you don't yet have basic equipment.

Who is the FUTR suitable for?

With exactly one hose connection, the FUTR is built for one person — an evening on the balcony or shared between two with a hose swap, not as a group shisha for four people. At about 43 cm and about 2.9 kg you can carry it with one hand from A to B, but you're still well above the travel format of the Amotion Roam.

It's especially suited to beginners who don't want to place three orders before everything's together: bowl, hose, mouthpiece and seals are already included. Smoke column (11 mm) and dip tube (13 mm) are the same across all seven colors — the color choice changes nothing about the technique, it's a purely visual decision.

Care & construction

The setup requires no tools: the glass bowl is placed onto the mount and not screwed on, the smoke column sits above it, and the hose goes onto the single connection. Before your first session, check the fit of the Perfect-Fit seals — they're what keeps the system airtight.

Warm water and a brush are enough to clean the smoke column and glass bowl, then let everything dry well. Keep abrasives and scouring sponges away from the soft-touch sleeve, the matte surface hates that — a damp cloth is enough there. Hose, mouthpiece and seals don't need aggressive cleaners either. After drying, check the seals for a proper fit once more.

The bowl is handmade glass: small inclusions, such as air bubbles, can't be fully ruled out in production and are not grounds for a complaint. The same applies to slight color deviations from the product image as well as differences in the height of the bowl base.
