Mixing it yourself: the right ratio

60/40 in favor of mango: passion fruit is a loud flavor whose acidity comes through even in a smaller share, while the mango lays the soft foundation. For your own blend, you combine a pure mango like Darkside Core MG Assi 2.0 or Blackburn Mamgo with Fumelo Fassion as the passion fruit part – acidity fans turn it up to 50/50. Mix thoroughly instead of layering, loosely into the Phunnel, 2–3 mm of clearance to the HMD and start out with moderate heat: overheated fruit mixes quickly turn harsh – better to put on one coal less and adjust early.
