The Cosmo Bowl Turkish Terracote is the smallest and cheapest Turkish multi-hole bowl from Cosmo Bowl: 8 to 9 grams of tobacco deposit, 6.5 cm height, 7 cm deposit outside diameter and 170 grams of weight. The head is completely unglazed and has no decoration apart from the embossed Cosmo Bowl logo on the neck - it is precisely this minimalist manufacturing that makes the price of €7.90 possible. The flat depot with a depth of 1.3 cm and a 6-hole star design accommodates common HMDs and smokeboxes and can also be operated with aluminum foil. Ideal as a second, travel or replacement head and for anyone who smokes smaller amounts of tobacco.

The Cosmo Bowl Turkish Terracot is the smallest Turkish multi-hole head in the Cosmo Bowl range - and with 7,90 € also the cheapest. She composes 8 to 9 grams Tobacco, measures 6.5cm in der Höhe und wiegt 170 grams. This means it is deliberately lower than the classic Cosmo models, which swallow significantly more tobacco at 14 to 20 grams.

There is a concrete reason for the low price: this head is minimalist. No glaze bath, no ribs, no embossed patterns, no metal badge - just raw, unglazed clay and an embossed Cosmo Bowl logo on the neck. Fewer work steps in the factory and less material used thanks to the compact design – we pass on these savings directly.

Dimensions, depot and quantity of tobacco

The depot has an outside diameter of 7cm bei einer Tiefe von 1.3cm. This flat, wide bowl is typical of the Turkish design: the tobacco is spread out instead of deeply stacked, which means that the heat from above passes through the material more evenly.

In practice this means a filling quantity of 8 to 9 grams – enough for a full session for two without leaving half-smoked tobacco in your head at the end. If you smoke alone or just go for a quick round, you will use noticeably less tobacco with this bowl than with a 20 gram model.

Raw clay instead of glaze

The Terracote is complete unglazed. The surface remains matt and slightly rough, the natural terracotta tint of the fired clay is the entire design. Clay stores heat very well and is considered a reference material among head materials in terms of taste.

The model name reflects exactly that: Terracote ist die Schreibweise des Herstellers für Terracotta respectively terracotta – the fired, unglazed clay from which the head is made. Whether you are looking for the head in terracote, terracotta or terracotta: this model is always meant.

Two characteristics are part of raw clay and are not a defect: the surface darkens over time, because it absorbs molasses and heat - used tape heads look different than new ones. And the color tone can vary slightly from brand to brand because clay is a natural material.

Compatible with HMD, Smokebox and aluminum foil

With a 7 cm depot outer diameter, the Terracote takes common ones Heat Management Devices and smokeboxes - like this one ONMO HMD Stainless Steel Flat. An HMD helps keep the heat consistent throughout the session; However, it does not replace clean coal management.

Classic aluminum foil works the same way. The head sits over the usual nozzle on standard shisha head adapters - just like any other Cosmo Bowl model. A head gasket made of silicone or rubber is not included in the scope of delivery and must be selected to match the smoke column.

Terracote compared to the other Cosmo heads

It is outside the Cosmo range Darkside D-Micro multi-hole head in the same compact class, but costs more than three times as much at €25.90.

More holes instead of phunnels – what that means

The Terracote is a Multi-hole head: five teardrop-shaped holes in a circle plus a round central hole, i.e. a 6-hole star design. Unlike a phunnel, a multi-hole head does not retain the molasses in the depot - glycerin and juice run down.

This is a deliberate characteristic, not a disadvantage: the hit is more open, but the session is usually shorter than with a phunnel with the same capacity. If you prefer to smoke on one filling for a very long time, choose one Phunnel.

Who is the Terracote made for?

For everyone who is looking for a second or third bowl to change without spending a lot - and for everyone who smokes smaller amounts of tobacco. The compact cut also makes it a practical travel and replacement head. Anyone who regularly entertains large groups is better served with the 14-20 gram models.

Care and cleaning

After the session, let it cool down, remove any tobacco residue and rinse with hot water and a brush. No dishwasher and no aggressive cleaners: raw clay is porous and absorbs cleaning agents, which later become noticeable in the taste. Allow to dry completely before next use.

A hot tape head should not be placed in cold water - the thermal shock can cause cracks.

That's why the Terracote is the right choice

  • Cheapest Cosmo Turkish: €7.90 thanks to deliberately minimalist production without glaze or decoration.
  • Compact dimensions: 6.5 cm high, 7 cm depot outer diameter, 170 g weight.
  • 8-9g depot: full session without wasting tobacco in a small round.
  • 6-hole star design: five drop holes plus central hole, 1.3 cm depot depth.
  • HMD and film compatible: Fits common smokeboxes and standard head adapters.

Does the Terracote fit my shisha and my HMD?

Yes. The bowl sits over the usual spout on standard shisha head adapters, just like any other Cosmo Bowl model. With a 7 cm depot outer diameter, it accommodates common HMDs and smokeboxes, such as the ONMO models. A suitable head gasket is not included in the scope of delivery.

How much tobacco does the Cosmo Bowl Terracote fit?

8 to 9 grams. The depot has an outer diameter of 7 cm and a depth of 1.3 cm. This makes the Terracote significantly smaller than the classic Cosmo Turkish heads at 14 to 20 grams and is suitable for short rounds or small groups.

Why is this bowl so much cheaper than other Cosmo Bowls?

Because it is deliberately made to be minimalist: no glaze, no ribs or embossed patterns, no metal badge, just the embossed Cosmo Bowl logo on the neck. In addition, the compact design means that less material is used. We pass on these savings in production in the price.

Is the model called Terracote, Terracotta or Terracotta?

The manufacturer calls the model “Terracote”. This refers to terracotta - usually spelled terracotta in German - i.e. the fired, unglazed clay that the head is made of. All three spellings mean the same product: the Cosmo Bowl Turkish Terracote.

What does unglazed mean for use?

The surface remains matt and slightly rough. Raw clay darkens with use because it absorbs molasses and heat - this is normal patina and not a defect. Slight color differences between individual heads are also part of the natural material clay.

How many holes does the depot have?

Six: five teardrop-shaped holes in an even circle plus a round central hole - a 6-hole star design. The holes sit flat in the depot floor, there is no raised center cone like with a phunnel.

How is a multi-hole head different from a phunnel?

A multi-hole head allows glycerin and molasses to flow downwards, while a phunnel retains both in the depot. This means that the pull is more open with the multi-hole head, but the session is usually shorter than with the Phunnel with the same filling capacity.

Is the Terracote suitable for beginners?

Yes, with one caveat. The small filling quantity forgives mistakes when stuffing, as an unsuccessful filling costs little tobacco. However, clay retains heat well, so you should start with less carbon than with a silicone head and add more.

How is the Terracote different from the Cosmo Bowl A-SHOT?

Both are in the same compact class - the A-SHOT holds 6 to 10 grams, the Terracote 8 to 9 grams. The difference lies in the look and price: the A-SHOT is dark and costs 9.90 euros, the Terracote is unglazed terracotta clay for 7.90 euros.

How do I clean my head properly?

Allow to cool, remove any tobacco residue, rinse with hot water and a brush, then allow to dry completely. No dishwasher and no aggressive cleaners - raw clay is porous and absorbs cleaning agents. Never immerse a hot clay head in cold water, as this can cause cracks.

Is a head gasket included?

Nein. Geliefert wird ausschließlich der Tabakkopf.

  • Viel Kopf für wenig Geld

Toller Budgetkopf.
