El Bomber x Maklaud – Infernum – Smoke column set

The El Bomber x Maklaud Infernum is a limited collaboration shisha: El Bomber engineering meets the cast bronze art of the Maklaud manufactory — 333 numbered pieces worldwide, release summer 2026. Where El Bomber editions like the Moto carry their motifs as a print under the coating, the El Bomber Maklaud Infernum relies on solid, cast bronze: flame reliefs, skull motifs and a bronze accent ring on the mouthpiece, all on matte black stainless steel.

Design & Craftsmanship: Hellfire in Bronze

The official story behind the Infernum reads like the start of a race: hellfire breaks out of the darkness and flows into bronze, the ornament twists like the smoke of burnt rubber, the skulls below tempt you to floor the gas pedal. That's exactly what the smoke column shows: matte black, with an integrated flame relief along the shaft, on top massive applications of cast bronze — a bronze relief on the side of the shaft and a bronze wreath of flames as the transition to the base, interspersed with fire and skull motifs. The mouthpiece is also matte black, bears the imprint „EL BOMBER × MAKLAUD“, stainless steel end pieces and a bronze decorative ring with ornament. The contrast of warm bronze tone and deep black is the visual leitmotif of the Infernum.

The charcoal plate (Ø approx. 19 cm) is the centerpiece of the edition: matte black, with a lasered graphic: a wheel of bones, wreath of flames, chain, the lettering „INFERNUM“, the addition „EL BOMBER × MAKLAUD“ and the individual edition number. The craftsmanship follows the El Bomber standard: stainless steel AISI 304 in the smoke column, mouthpiece, charcoal plate, diffuser and connections, polyacetal base (POM), fully disassemblable for cleaning.

El Bomber x Maklaud: Two brands, one edition

Two Russian houses stand behind the Infernum. El Bomber from Omsk is the designer line around Aleksander Kalashnikov, known for themed editions like Sansara, Moto, Dust 2, Ghost Mode, Katana Wakizashi or Igla. Maclaud from Yekaterinburg, founded in 2016, is a premium manufactory for handcrafted and cast bronze art elements, known for limited collector's editions. In the shop, Maklaud is, for example, with the Maklaud Rose Gold and the Maklaud Minotaur represented.

For the Infernum, El Bomber provides the construction — smoke column, draw behavior, blow-off in the base, open 11 mm bore — and Maklaud the bronze: flame reliefs, flame wreath and decorative ring as cast applications. Worldwide there are 333 pieces, each individually numbered; the engraving on the charcoal plate shows the number. Which number you receive depends on available stock and cannot be selected. More about the manufactory on the Maklaud brand page.

Technical highlights

• Limited to 333 pieces: numbered worldwide edition, edition number engraved on the charcoal plate.
• AISI 304 stainless steel: Smoke column, mouthpiece, charcoal plate, diffuser and connections — corrosion-resistant.
• Cast bronze appliqués: Flame relief on the shaft, flame wreath toward the base, accent ring on the mouthpiece — solid, not printed.
• Polyacetal base (POM): technical polymer for the base — heat-resistant, dimensionally stable; the blow-off valve sits directly in the base.
• Height of the smoke column approx. 47.5 cm: compact enough for the table, striking enough as a showpiece.
• Inner diameter 11 mm: pleasantly open draw.
• 1-Hose connection: classic setup for single smoker sessions.
• Integrated diffuser: Screen/hole diffuser at the end of the dip tube — smoother, quieter draw.
• Charcoal plate Ø approx. 19 cm: matte black with laser-etched graphic and edition number — room for any common smokebox / HMD.

Perfect accessories for the Infernum

Recommended additions for a complete setup:

• Smokebox/HMD – for clean heat control without aluminum foil; the 19 cm plate offers enough space.
• Natural charcoal 26 mm – ideal for phunnel setups.
• Premium bowl / glass vase – not included in the set; any standard push-fit bowl with a normal neck opening and a depth of at least approx. 25 cm will fit.

Who is the El Bomber Maklaud Infernum suitable for?

The El Bomber Maklaud Infernum is aimed at collectors and at anyone who wants a shisha with a story: a numbered collaboration between two brands in an edition of 333 pieces. Anyone who values Maklaud bronze gets it here in a compact smoke column; anyone who knows El Bomber gets the familiar technology in a version that will never exist again in this form. Thematically it appeals to motorsport fans, bikers and lovers of flame and skull aesthetics — as a counterpart to the Moto or as an eye-catcher next to a Sansara. If you want to buy a limited designer shisha that works just as well in everyday use as it does on the shelf, the Infernum shisha is the right choice — whether you specifically want to buy a Maklaud shisha or are looking for an El Bomber with collector's value.

Technically, the El Bomber Infernum remains a true El Bomber: 1-hose connection, integrated diffuser, intuitive setup. Beginners get along with it just as well as experienced smokers — the difference lies in the design and the limited edition, not in the handling.

Care & construction

Disassemble after every session: remove the charcoal plate, remove the mouthpiece, detach the shaft from the base. Rinse through with lukewarm water, occasionally pull a shaft cleaning brush through the dip tube — done. For the matte black surface and the bronze applications, use only lukewarm water and a little mild detergent — no scouring pads, no harsh solvents. Then wipe the bronze and stainless steel dry.

Setup is just as quick: attach the bowl to the dip tube with the bowl seal, connect the shaft to the base, place the charcoal plate, fit the head over the head seal, connect the hose. Ready to smoke in just a few steps.
