Vandenberg V1 Phunnel midnight blue

The Vandenberg V1 Phunnel midnight blue is the classic original design of the Vandenberg factory in Germany - handmade, hand-glazed, fired and individually tested. As a single-hole phunnel with a ribbed handle and a central, raised single hole, it keeps the molasses in the depot instead of letting it drain into the bowl.

In terms of character, the V1 is a forgiving all-rounder: the larger depot of 15-18 g and the phunnel design forgive small packing errors and deliver constant smoke for 1.5-2 hours. This makes it a safe choice even for less experienced head builders.

Design & workmanship: midnight blue

Midnight blue is a deep, dark blue that appears almost black depending on the light - a clean, dark, sealed glaze without color play. This makes the head particularly suitable for dark setups and columns made of carbon or stainless steel.

The glaze is applied using the reactive process: Each head has its own individual mottling and color gradient, no two copies are exactly alike - a handmade unique piece in the sense of glaze variation, no artificial scarcity. On the base, the embossed V logo design identifies each original Vandenberg head.

Who is the V1 Midnight Blue suitable for?

The V1 is a forgiving all-rounder and therefore also suitable for less experienced head builders: the phunnel design and the 15-18 g depot forgive small packing errors and keep the heat constant. It is suitable for Virginia in the distance setup and for Darkblend in the contact setup.

Visually, midnight blue is the choice for anyone who drives a dark, clean setup - the almost black shade of blue goes particularly well with carbon or stainless steel pillars.

Care & Cleaning

After the session, rinse your head with warm water, if necessary with a little dishwashing liquid. The sealed glaze does not absorb any aromas, so you can change the flavor at any time without ghosting.

Important: no dishwasher and do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaners - both of which attack the glaze. The highly densely fired tone itself is long-term stable and can easily withstand many sessions.
