Amotion FUTR – Lime Shisha

The Amotion FUTR is the first medium-sized shisha from the Amotion label – before it, there was only the small travel shisha Roam. The FUTR takes over its soft-touch material and combines it with a futuristic-looking graphic design. In Lime, that means: a bright, clearly lightened pastel yellow-green on a matte soft-touch surface. But the key point stays the same for every color: you get a complete set, not just the pipe.

Technically the FUTR is a single-hose shisha with 1 hose connection, 43 cm height and approx. 2.9 kg weight. Built from stainless steel, ABS, polycarbonate and silicone, the bowl is made of glass. Hose, mouthpiece, bowl and the Perfect Fit seals are already in the box – only the tobacco head is not included.

Design & finish: Lime on soft-touch

The colored soft-touch sleeve is worn by the upper part of the smoke column: Lime here is a light, clearly brightened pastel yellow-green, matte and without gloss – not a bold signal green. Below that follows a clear section of the smoke column, and the graphic design sits exactly on this window: a field of diagonal stripes and the vertically set AMOTION lettering. The soft-touch material was carried over from the Amotion Roam's FUTR, the graphic window is new – together this forms its distinctive design feature.

The metal parts are silver throughout: the cone above the charcoal plate, the flat charcoal plate with a 16 cm diameter, the locking ring above the bowl and the side-angled hose connection with a silver tip. The bowl itself is made of clear, colorless glass, flared outward and with a thick base; through the clear glass you can see the silver dip tube with a 13 mm inner diameter. The hose and mouthpiece pick up the lime tone: the silicone hose also carries the AMOTION lettering and has silver end pieces, the mouthpiece is held in the same color with a silver tip. So the color runs through the entire set and isn't limited to the smoke column.

Fully equipped from the factory

Amotion positions the FUTR as an all-inclusive shisha, and the box delivers on that: smoke column with charcoal plate, glass bowl, hose, mouthpiece and the Perfect-Fit seals are included. In this price range you usually have to buy the hose and mouthpiece separately – and then rarely match the color. Here, hose, mouthpiece and seals are matched to the shisha's Lime color from the factory.

Not included are tobacco head and bowl coaster – Amotion deliberately keeps both optional. In practice that means: add a Phunnel, tobacco, and natural charcoal, and the FUTR is ready to use. Nothing more is needed.

The Amotion FUTR color variants at a glance

All seven colors are technically identical – same 43 cm, same 2.9 kg, same dimensions, always silver metal parts. Only the shade of the soft-touch sleeve, hose, mouthpiece and seals differs:

• Amotion FUTR – Cobalt Shisha – rich, medium-dark blue.
• Amotion FUTR – Mauve Shisha – light lilac with a lavender character.
• Amotion FUTR – Midnight Shisha – Black, the most understated look in the lineup.
• Amotion FUTR – Rouge Shisha – Red, the boldest color signal of the series.
• Amotion FUTR – Sky Shisha – light blue, noticeably friendlier than Cobalt.
• Amotion FUTR – Stone Shisha – warm off-white in a light stone tone.

This page shows the Lime version: the light, yellow-tinged green.

Matching accessories

• Phunnel tobacco heads – you'll definitely need this, since the set doesn't include a head.
• Shisha tobacco – variety and amount according to your head.
• Natural charcoal – fits on the 16 cm charcoal plate.
• Attachments & HMDs – if you want to work without aluminum foil.
• Replacement bowls – push-fit bowls only, the FUTR is push-fitted.
• Amotion silicone hose Lime (€7.90) – a replacement or second hose in the same color. One hose is already included with the set.

Who is the FUTR suitable for?

For anyone who wants a finished shisha instead of a shopping list. If you're just starting out, you skip the question of which hose and which mouthpiece fit – both are included and matched to each other. The only thing left open is the choice of head, and that's quickly settled with a standard Phunnel.

At 43 cm, the FUTR falls into the medium size class (42–50 cm): big enough to stand on the table and not feel like a travel pipe, small enough to store and take along. The single hose connection is designed for one smoker; in a group the hose gets passed around. Lime is the bright, colorful choice – if you prefer something more restrained, Stone or Midnight offer quieter tones in the same model.

Care & construction

The setup is quick: fill the bowl with enough water for the dip tube to be submerged, place the bowl onto the smoke column and make sure the seal sits firmly, push the hose onto the connection, put on the charcoal plate, then the head. Nothing needs to be screwed – the bowl is push-fit.

Warm water and a brush are enough to clean the smoke column, dip tube and glass bowl. Important for the soft-touch sleeve: no abrasives and no aggressive cleaners – the matte surface reacts badly to that and becomes dull or stained. Afterwards let all parts dry thoroughly and briefly check before the next setup whether the silicone seals still sit cleanly. The hose is just rinsed out and dried hanging.

Why the FUTR is the right choice

• Complete set: bowl, hose, mouthpiece and Perfect-Fit seals are included – only the tobacco head is missing.
• Hose, mouthpiece and seals are color-matched at the factory to the shisha's Lime.
• 43 cm and approx. 2.9 kg: medium size class, practical for everyday use on the table and quick to stow away.
• Clear data: 13 mm dip tube, 11 mm smoke column, 16 cm charcoal plate, 15 cm bowl, 1 hose connection.
• Soft-touch material of the Amotion Roam, combined with the futuristic-looking graphic design of the FUTR.
• Push-fit bowl: bowl changes without screws, replacements can be added anytime.
• Six more colors with identical technology, in case Lime is too light for you.

Small inclusions in the bowl's glass, for example tiny air bubbles, can't be avoided in handmade production and are not grounds for a complaint. The same applies to slight color deviations from the product image as well as differences in the height of the bowl base.
