Moze Varity Squad Silver – Clear Bowl – Wavy Mint Shisha
Mint green shows color in the Wavy line without being loud: a bright, cool green in the resin sleeve over the silver stainless steel base of the Moze Varity Squad. Because the bowl is clear glass, the color stays up on the smoke column and the water level stays visible at all times. The Squad Base has four hose connections, unused ones are sealed off. Dimensions: approx. 52 cm height, approx. 4.1 kg, charcoal plate with 19 cm. Because the smoke column and dip tube are splittable, you decide via the setup and thus the draw resistance – interesting for groups who like to fine-tune themselves.
Wavy Mint is the shade for anyone who wants color but no bold statement: a light, cool green that stays pastel in the acrylic/epoxy resin and doesn't push itself into the foreground next to bare stainless steel. Because this version comes with the clear bowl, the color accent stays up on the smoke column – the glass below doesn't visually interfere and keeps the water level visible.
What's ordered here is the Squad version, i.e. the base with four hose connections. The dimensions are the same across the whole series: approx. 52 cm height, approx. 4.1 kg weight, charcoal plate with a 19 cm diameter. Stainless steel, glass and acrylic/epoxy resin are used; the box contains the smoke column, charcoal plate, the clear Moze Varity bowl and the seals.
Design & finish: Wavy Mint on Silver Base
The sleeve's wave structure stands out especially clearly in Mint, because a light shade barely absorbs the light and shadow edges of the curved surface. The sleeve itself is made of acrylic/epoxy resin and sits over the smoke column; underneath, stainless steel serves as the load-bearing material.
With Moze, Silver means stainless steel in natural silver, i.e. uncoated metal instead of black coating. That keeps the base, the 19 cm charcoal plate and the blow-off ring metallic, setting a cool frame around the mint green. The clear bowl is 21.5 cm at its widest point and 26.5 cm tall; the thick-walled glass tapers into a long, narrow neck with a 4.2 cm opening, or 7 cm with the adapter. The glass is handmade.

Individually adjustable draw
Moze sums up the essence of the Varity like this: "Because both the dip tube and the smoke column are individually detachable, you decide for yourself how your Varity feels when you smoke it.“ This is meant literally – both components can be separated and recombined. As the range, Moze names a more direct draw on one side and a softer pull on the other.
An assignment of which setup leads to which end of this range is not disclosed by the manufacturer, and no guessing is done here. So you test it out yourself until the resistance fits. The rest of the shisha follows the same idea: smoke column, dip tube, sleeve, charcoal plate, diffuser and blow-off ring are independent components, supplemented by extension segments for the smoke column and dip tube, with which the column can be lengthened.

Squad or Lounge? The comparison
Between Squad and Lounge there's exactly one component: the base. Squad brings four hose connections, Lounge one. Everything else – smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, charcoal plate, blow-off ring – is the same part on both, and height and weight are the same too. More connections don't make a shisha worse; what you don't use gets closed off.
There are also three configurations: clear bowl as here, satin Frosted Bowl or the smoke column set without the glass bowl at approx. 49 cm height and approx. 2.2 kg. Between Clear and Frosted Bowl only the glass look differs, the dimensions of both bowls are the same.
Perfect accessories for your Varity
To get started you're still missing the head, the heat management and the charcoal: Phunnel tobacco heads, Attachments and HMDs as well as Natural charcoal you'll find separately with us. For four connections you'll also need up to four Hoses – or just two and two closures.
Who is this Varity suitable for?
It fits households and groups where regularly more than two people smoke along: four connections on the Squad Base save the passing around. If you almost always sit alone or as a pair, you're better served with the Lounge Base with one connection.
The second point is the tinkering factor. Detachable smoke column, detachable dip tube, replaceable diffuser, replaceable blow-off ring – this is a shisha made for rebuilding. If instead you want a setup you assemble once and never touch again, part of the concept goes unused. Color-wise, Mint is the friendly middle ground between understated steel and bold pink.
Care & construction
Rinse the smoke column and dip tube with warm water after the session; the brush should fit an 11 mm inner diameter in the column and 12 mm in the dip tube. For the bowl you need a correspondingly long brush because of the long, narrow neck, otherwise residue stays in the transition to the wide glass part.
Aggressive cleaners and abrasives stay out of the picture – they can make the resin sleeve dull and strip the stainless steel of its smooth surface. Afterward, let all parts dry well and check the seals before reassembling. Moze does not publish care instructions specific to the Varity, so here it comes down to the general handling of stainless steel, glass and resin.
That's why this Varity is the right choice
- Squad Base with four hose connections, unused connections are sealed off.
- Splittable smoke column and splittable dip tube: The build and with it the draw resistance is up to you.
- According to Moze, designed for push-fit and screw bowls; the clear screw bowl is included.
- Replaceable individual parts: sleeve, charcoal plate, diffuser and blow-off ring.
- Clear specs: approx. 52 cm, approx. 4.1 kg, 19 cm charcoal plate, 12 mm dip tube, 11 mm smoke column.
- Wavy Mint: light mint green with wave texture on uncoated stainless steel.
Because the bowl glass is handmade, small inclusions like air bubbles can't be avoided; they are not grounds for a complaint. The same goes for slight color deviations from the product photo or differences in the height of the bowl base.

Can I also put a push-fit bowl on the Varity Squad?
Yes, according to Moze the Varity is designed for push-fit and screw bowls. Included here is the clear Moze Varity Bowl as a screw bowl; for push-fit bowls Moze offers its own push-fit bowl adapter, available separately. Moze designs its models for the standard 45 mm push-fit bowls; the manufacturer doesn't state a Varity-specific push-fit size.
What are the dimensions of the shisha including the bowl?
The assembled shisha is approx. 52 cm tall and weighs approx. 4.1 kg. The charcoal plate has a 19 cm diameter, the dip tube a 12 mm inner diameter, and the smoke column 11 mm. The bowl measures 21.5 cm at its widest point at 26.5 cm height, the neck opening is 4.2 cm and 7 cm with adapter.
What do I get delivered, what do I need to buy separately?
The box contains the smoke column with Wavy Mint sleeve and Squad Base, the 19 cm charcoal plate, the clear Moze Varity Bowl and the seals. You'll need to buy hose, mouthpiece, tobacco head, charcoal, charcoal tongs and HMD separately. Moze doesn't specify further individual parts, so we don't list anything here that isn't confirmed.
How does the separability of smoke column and dip tube work?
Both components can be taken apart and reassembled in different combinations, so you decide the build yourself. Moze describes the possible range as anything from a more direct draw to a softer pull, but doesn't assign a specific result to any particular build. In practice, you just try out a few variants and stick with the one that suits you.
Where is the blow-off located and how is it built?
The blow-off is its own blow-off ring and thus a replaceable component. It works with balls: 7 mm in the base, 11 mm at the hose adapter. Depending on the setup it can sit in two positions, either up under the charcoal plate or down at the base.
What's the difference between Squad and Lounge?
Only in the base and thus in the number of hose connections: four on the Squad, one on the Lounge. Smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, charcoal plate and blow-off ring are the same parts on both, and the approx. 52 cm and approx. 4.1 kg don't change either. So the decision depends solely on how many people are smoking at once.
Is the Varity Squad suitable as a first hookah of your own?
Does the Mint sleeve fade from cleaning?
Avoid aggressive and abrasive agents, they can dull the surface of the acrylic/epoxy resin. Warm water and a soft brush are entirely sufficient for the sleeve, and afterwards everything should dry well. Slight color variations compared to the product image are due to manufacturing and not a defect.
