Design & craftsmanship: Wavy Mint on a black base
Mint here isn't a pastel hint, but the coloring running through a solid resin part: the sleeve carries its green tone within the material, not as a coat of paint on top. The wave structure of the surface – the „Wavy“ in the name – refracts the light and makes the tone appear lighter or deeper depending on the viewing angle.
Because the base version is called Black, the metal parts are coated black. The contrast between the bright green and the dark stainless steel is therefore clear, without the shisha looking colorful. Nothing else changes with the color choice: Moze lists sleeves as a separate component in Short and Long, with the long version requiring an additional smoke column segment.

Individually adjustable draw
The actual argument of the series is put in one sentence by Moze: „Because both the dip tube and the smoke column are individually splittable, you decide for yourself how your Varity feels while smoking.“ As a range, the manufacturer names a more direct pull or a softer draw – it doesn't say more than that.
We deliberately don't fill this gap with guesswork: which segment combination has which effect is something you find out for yourself. That's exactly the point – the setup on the Varity isn't a fixed spec, but an adjustable variable. Then there's the diffuser at the lower end of the dip tube, which makes the draw quieter and softer and can be swapped as an individual part, plus the blow-off ring, which can sit either up under the charcoal plate or down at the base, depending on the setup.

Lounge or Squad? The comparison
Both models differ in a single component, the base: one hose connection on the Lounge, four on the Squad. Smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, blow-off ring and charcoal plate come from the same parts kit, height and weight are the same. The common claim that multi-hose shishas smoke worse doesn't hold up – unused connections are sealed.
At the configuration level you can choose between three options: this shisha with satin-finished Frosted Bowl, the same with clear Clear Bowl, and the smoke column set without a bowl, which measures approx. 49 cm without glass. Clear and Frosted are the same size, the difference lies purely in the glass finish. Only with the set do you choose the bowl yourself.

Who is this Varity suitable for?
With one hose connection, the Lounge is tailored to the typical after-work session: you alone or with one other person. For larger groups Moze offers the same shisha as the Squad with four connections – identical apart from the base.
The second point is the willingness to work on the setup. A divisible dip tube and divisible smoke column only pay off if you try out different configurations; if you don't plan to, you get a well-equipped stainless steel shisha but don't use its main feature. Color-wise, Wavy Mint is the choice for anyone who wants a light green tone without the shisha becoming garish.
Care & construction
The setup follows the order Base, dip tube, smoke column, sleeve, bowl, charcoal plate. Since you choose the segmentation yourself, it's worth deliberately running the first sessions with different setups and remembering which one you liked. Before every session, briefly check that all seals are seated.
Cleaning is done disassembled: rinse the smoke column and dip tube through with warm water and a brush, do the same with the Frosted Bowl – its long, narrow neck calls for a long brush. Skip abrasive and aggressive agents; black-coated stainless steel, glass and the resin sleeve don't need them. Afterward, let all parts dry thoroughly and keep an eye on the seals, they're the usual wear part.

Which bowl and which head fit the Varity Lounge Wavy Mint?
The included Moze Varity Bowl Frosted is screwed on. Beyond that, the Varity also accepts push-fit bowls; Moze designs its models for the standard 45 mm push-fit bowls and offers the necessary push-fit bowl adapter separately. There is no restriction on the tobacco head, a Phunnel or classic head sits on the smoke column with a seal.

With the bowl it reaches approx. 52 cm and approx. 4.1 kg. Inside, the dip tube measures 12 mm, the smoke column 11 mm, and the charcoal plate has a 19 cm diameter. The Frosted Bowl is 21.5 cm wide and 26.5 cm high, with a neck opening of 4.2 cm, 7 cm with the adapter.

What does the splittable dip tube mean in practice?
The dip tube and smoke column consist of individual segments that you combine in different ways – that's how you change the setup of your shisha. Moze speaks of a more direct draw or a softer pull, but doesn't assign either term to a specific setup. So you try out the variations yourself rather than following a fixed rule.
How does the blow-off work?
It's designed as its own, swappable blow-off ring and works via balls: 7 mm on the base, 11 mm on the hose adapter. If you blow into the hose, the excess pressure lifts the ball and the stale smoke escapes; when you draw, it seals again. Depending on the setup, the ring sits above under the charcoal plate or below on the base.
Squad instead of Lounge – when is it worth it?
If you regularly smoke as a group of three or four, because the Squad Base has four hose connections instead of one. Otherwise everything is technically the same: smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, blow-off ring, charcoal plate, height and weight. If you mostly smoke alone, the Squad brings no advantage, you just close off the free connections.
Frosted Bowl, Clear Bowl or smoke column set?
Frosted and Clear are the same bowl in two glass finishes, satin or clear, and identical in size – purely a matter of taste. The smoke column set comes without a bowl, so it measures approx. 49 cm and weighs approx. 2.2 kg. This variant here already includes the satin-finished Frosted Bowl.
Is the Varity Lounge suitable for beginners?
Assembly is uncomplicated and done in a few minutes, so yes. Its unique selling point, though, the separability of dip tube and smoke column, only reveals itself once you're ready to experiment. If you just want a shisha to set up and leave standing, you're paying for flexibility you won't use.
