Moze Varity Lounge Black – Clear Bowl – Wavy Mint Shisha
Mint green resin with a wave structure meets black-coated stainless steel and a clear glass bowl on this Moze Varity Lounge – a shade that looks bright without being loud. One hose connection runs off the Lounge Base, fully assembled it measures approx. 52 cm and weighs approx. 4.1 kg. What matters is the mechanics underneath: the smoke column and dip tube can be split, so you decide for yourself how your session at the hose turns out. You can run bowls push-fit or screwed. Suited for anyone smoking alone or as a pair who likes to fine-tune.
Mint green is one of those colors that quickly become too much on a shisha – Moze solves that on the Varity Lounge through the layout: the sleeve made of tinted acrylic/epoxy resin sits as a bright block in the middle, the base and smoke column stay black-coated stainless steel, and the included bowl is clear, untinted glass. That gives the color accent a clear place instead of running across the whole shisha.
Behind the look is the full Varity build: a Lounge Base with one hose connection, 11 mm inner diameter in the smoke column, 12 mm in the dip tube, a charcoal plate with 19 cm. Assembled with bowl it's about 52 cm and about 4.1 kg. The box contains the smoke column, charcoal plate, the Moze Varity Bowl Clear and the seals; stainless steel, glass and acrylic/epoxy resin are used.
Design & Finish: Wavy Mint on Black
The Mint sleeve comes from the Wavy line: the resin is dyed through, no lacquer layer, and carries a wraparound wave structure that breaks the light along the height instead of leaving a smooth surface. Against the black base this reads as a bright middle section between two dark ends.
Stainless steel continues to handle the structure – smoke column, dip tube and base are metal, and the sleeve wraps around them. In the Varity kit it's a separate component, so your setup isn't permanently locked into this color scheme.

Individually adjustable draw
With the Varity, separability isn't a side feature, it's the whole reason for the model. Because both the dip tube and the smoke column can be split, you decide through the setup how the draw feels. Moze frames the range with a more direct draw and a softer pull and leaves open which setup leads where – the manufacturer doesn't specify an assignment anywhere, and we're not making one up here either.
Two components come into play here: the diffuser at the lower end of the dip tube, which makes the draw quieter and softer and is replaceable, and the blow-off ring, which can be set in two positions during assembly. If you want to go even further, Moze offers extension segments for the smoke column and dip tube, which let you lengthen the column and use it with the long sleeves – separate parts, not part of this delivery.
The Moze Varity Lounge Black Clear Bowl color variants at a glance
Seven sleeve versions are available for the Lounge Black with Clear Bowl. The build is the same throughout, it's purely about the color scheme:
- Moze Varity Lounge Black – Clear Bowl – Black Steel Shisha – entirely stainless steel in black, with no colored sleeve.
- Moze Varity Lounge Black – Clear Bowl – Original Black Shisha – black POM sleeve on stainless steel.
- Moze Varity Lounge Black – Clear Bowl – Wavy Blue Shisha – Blue in wavy resin, cool appearance.
- Moze Varity Lounge Black – Clear Bowl – Wavy Frosted Shisha – milky-satin light, the calmest tone in the Wavy line.
- Moze Varity Lounge Black – Clear Bowl – Wavy Pink Shisha – Pink, noticeably bolder than Mint.
- Moze Varity Lounge Black – Clear Bowl – Wavy Yellow Shisha – Yellow with the strongest contrast to the black metal.
Lounge or Squad? The comparison
Between Lounge and Squad there's exactly one component: the base. The Lounge base has one hose connection, the Squad base four. Everything else – smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, charcoal plate, blow-off ring – is the same part on both, and height and weight match too. The oft-repeated claim that multi-hose shishas smoke worse isn't true; unused connections on the Squad are simply sealed off.
The Lounge itself comes in three configurations: with a clear bowl as here, with a satin Frosted Bowl and as a smoke column set with no bowl at all, which measures approx. 49 cm and weighs approx. 2.2 kg without it. Between Clear and Frosted only the glass look differs.
Perfect accessories for your Varity
You choose the consumable and add-on parts yourself – here's what you need for the first session:
- Hoses – for the one connection of the Lounge Base.
- Mouthpieces – everyone at the table their own.
- Attachments & HMDs – for controlled heat throughout the session.
- Natural charcoal – the 19 cm plate offers storage space.
- Shisha tobacco – the flavor decides the session more than any component does.
Who is this Varity suitable for?
With one hose connection, the Lounge is designed for solo sessions and for pairs where the hose gets passed along. If a whole group regularly sits at your table, the Squad with its four connections is the right choice.
Otherwise the Varity appeals to tinkerers: if you enjoy fiddling with the build, diffuser, blow-off position and plate, you get a system made exactly for that. If you assemble your shisha once and then just light it from then on, you'll never use a good part of it. The Mint sleeve, in turn, is for anyone who finds plain black too stern and pink or yellow too loud.
Care & construction
After every session, the smoke column, dip tube and bowl should be rinsed with warm water and a brush; then leave everything open until it's really dry. Limescale marks show up early on clear glass, which makes cleaning easier rather than harder.
You're better off avoiding abrasives and aggressive cleaners entirely – stainless steel, glass and the resin sleeve will thank you with a surface free of scratch marks. Since the smoke column and dip tube are separable, a quick look at each seal is part of reassembly, so the setup closes cleanly.
That's why this Varity is the right choice
- Smoke column and dip tube divisible – the setup determines how direct or soft the draw feels
- Designed for push-fit and screw bowls, the clear screw bowl is included
- Interchangeable blow-off ring with two possible installation positions
- Replaceable diffuser at the lower end of the dip tube, makes the draw quieter and smoother
- Charcoal plate with a 19 cm diameter, interchangeable in the modular system
- Clear Bowl with 21.5 cm width and 26.5 cm height, neck opening 4.2 cm
- Approx. 52 cm tall, approx. 4.1 kg heavy, size class Large
Small inclusions, such as air bubbles, cannot be ruled out in the hand-crafted glass of the bowl and are not grounds for a complaint. The same applies to slight color deviations from the product image, as well as differences in the height of the bowl base.

Do push-fit bowls fit the Varity Lounge, or only screw bowls?
Both: Moze explicitly designs the Varity for push-fit and screw bowls. Included is the Moze Varity Bowl Clear as a screw bowl; for push-fit bowls, Moze offers a push-fit bowl adapter separately, and the brand's models are designed for the standard 45 mm push-fit bowls. The tobacco head sits on the smoke column via the seal, so you're free to choose.
What are the dimensions of the Varity Lounge Wavy Mint?
Assembled with the bowl it measures approx. 52 cm and weighs approx. 4.1 kg. Inside, the dip tube is 12 mm, the smoke column 11 mm, and the charcoal plate comes to 19 cm in diameter. The clear bowl measures 21.5 cm at its widest point, is 26.5 cm tall, and has a neck opening of 4.2 cm, or 7 cm including the adapter.
What comes with the shisha?
Included are the smoke column with Lounge Base and Wavy-Mint sleeve, the 19 cm charcoal plate, the Moze Varity Bowl Clear and the seals. Hose, mouthpiece, tobacco head, charcoal, charcoal tongs and HMD are not included and are purchased separately. This lets you put together head, heat management device and hose to your own taste.
How do I change the draw on the Varity?
About the setup: smoke column and dip tube are divisible, and how the draw feels results from the combination you choose. Moze names a range from a more direct pull to a softer draw, but doesn't say which setup delivers which result. It's best to try the variants one after another, it's rebuilt in a few minutes.
How are blow-off and diffuser solved on the Varity?
The blow-off is a standalone ring and therefore replaceable; it works with balls, 7 mm in the base and 11 mm in the hose adapter, and can sit in two positions in the setup, either up under the charcoal plate or down at the base. Moze doesn't specify what technical effect each position has. The diffuser sits at the lower end of the dip tube, makes the draw quieter and softer, and is likewise replaceable.
Lounge oder Squad – welche soll ich nehmen?
The decision comes down purely to the number of hoses: the Lounge Base has one connection, the Squad Base has four. All other components and the dimensions are identical too, neither one smokes better than the other. If you usually smoke alone or with one other person, the Lounge is enough; for bigger groups the Squad is the more practical choice.
Is the Varity suitable for beginners?
Assembly is straightforward and the shisha comes with a bowl and seals, complete enough to get started. The real value, however, lies in reconfiguring the smoke column and dip tube, and this advantage only shows once you have points of comparison. So factor in hose, head, charcoal and a heat management device, and it also works as a first shisha of your own.
How do I care for the mint sleeve and the rest of the shisha?
Warm water and a brush are enough for the smoke column, dip tube and bowl; then let everything dry thoroughly. You should avoid abrasive or aggressive agents on stainless steel, glass and the resin sleeve, as they make the surface dull and scratchy. It's best to check the seals briefly each time you reassemble it.
