Moze Varity Squad Silver – Smoke Column Set – Original Black

Sometimes the bowl is already sitting on the shelf – that's exactly what this configuration is for. The smoke column set is the complete Moze Varity Squad without the glass bowl: you buy the hardware and decide separately which glass goes on top. The sleeve here is Original Black, meaning black POM on stainless steel, combined with the silver Squad Base.

Four hose connections sit in this base and are the only structural difference from the Lounge. Without a bowl the set measures about 49 cm and weighs about 2.2 kg; it's made of stainless steel and POM. The shisha and seals are supplied – a bowl is explicitly not included and must be ordered separately.

Design & finish: Original Black on Silver Base

At Moze, Original Black means a sleeve made of black POM – a technical plastic with a smooth, unstructured surface, so without the wave structure of the Wavy versions. The black cylinder sits on the natural silver of the base and the metal parts, which visually splits the shisha into two clear zones.

Because no glass is included, you determine the look of the lower half entirely yourself: a dark bowl carries the black through consistently, clear or frosted glass sets the black off up top. You'll find matching models in our Bowls.

Individually adjustable draw

On the Varity, both core parts are sectional, dip tube as well as smoke column. Moze concludes from this that you decide for yourself how your Varity feels while smoking, and names as the range a more direct pull or a softer draw. Which specific setup leads where is not specified by the manufacturer – so we won't claim it either.

With the smoke column set there's a second freedom: since no bowl is included, you also choose the shape, size and connection type of the glass yourself. The smoke column, dip tube, sleeve, charcoal plate, diffuser and blow-off ring remain independent components; extension segments are also available for the column and dip tube to lengthen them. These extensions are not included.

Smoke column set or complete shisha? The comparison

Compared to the variants with a bowl, exactly one part is missing here: the glass. As a result, approx. 49 cm without bowl and approx. 2.2 kg appear on the spec sheet instead of the approx. 52 cm and approx. 4.1 kg of the complete versions. This set makes sense if you already have a bowl, want a specific shape, or specifically want to run a push-fit bowl – not as a pure budget option.

With the complete shishas you'd have the choice between the Clear bowl made of clear glass and the Frosted bowl made of satin-finished glass; technically both are the same. And on top of that: Squad means four hose connections, Lounge means one. Everything else – smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, charcoal plate, blow-off ring, dimensions – is identical on both, and more connections don't mean the shisha smokes worse.

Who is this Varity suitable for?

This set is for people who already know which glass they want: if you have a favorite bowl or deliberately want to go with a push-fit bowl, you won't be paying here for a bowl that just ends up sitting in a cupboard. Combined with the four connections on the Squad Base, it suits groups where several people smoke at once.

It's less suited to a complete fresh start with no prior gear – then on the evening of delivery you'll be missing the bowl. In that case, better go with the version with Clear or Frosted Bowl; technically you get the same shisha.

Care & construction

Rinse the smoke column and dip tube with warm water and a brush; for the dip tube's 12 mm inner diameter you'll need a narrow brush. The black POM sleeve can't tolerate abrasive agents or aggressive cleaners, and the same goes for the stainless steel parts – warm water and a cloth are enough.

Let everything dry completely before reassembly. When placing the separately purchased bowl on, make sure the seal sits cleanly and isn't tilted; replace hard or cracked seals, as they are wear parts.
