Moze Varity Lounge Black – Clear Bowl – Wavy Frosted Shisha
The Wavy Frosted sleeve brings milky-light resin with a wave structure onto the black-coated stainless steel base of the Moze Varity Lounge, underneath which the clear glass bowl shows the water level at all times. The Lounge Base carries one hose connection, set up the shisha stands approx. 52 cm tall and weighs approx. 4.1 kg. Its real argument lies inside: dip tube and smoke column are splittable, so you determine via the setup yourself how direct or soft the draw feels. It accepts both push-fit and screw bowls. It's designed for solo and two-person sessions by smokers who enjoy tinkering with their setup.
A light, milky satin-finished sleeve on black-coated stainless steel, with completely clear glass underneath: in the Wavy Frosted version, the Moze Varity Lounge works with three levels that stand out clearly from one another visually. For clarity, since the name is a bit misleading: Frosted refers to the sleeve here, not the bowl – the glass on this variant is the clear version, so you see the water level and bubble pattern unfiltered.
Technically, it's the full Varity behind this. The Lounge base has exactly one hose connection, the smoke column measures 11 mm inner diameter, the dip tube 12 mm, the charcoal plate 19 cm. With the bowl attached, it comes to about 52 cm in height and about 4.1 kg. Included are the smoke column, charcoal plate, the Moze Varity Bowl Clear and the seals; the whole thing is built from stainless steel, glass and acrylic/epoxy resin.
Design & Finish: Wavy Frosted on Black
The Frosted Sleeve isn't paint, but tinted acrylic/epoxy resin in a milky-light, satin tone. The wraparound wave structure of the Wavy series shows through it as a soft shadow line instead of standing out as a hard edge. Against the black-coated stainless steel base, the build reads as graphically structured: light in the middle, dark at the bottom, with the clear bowl in between.
The supporting structure is always the metal – smoke column, dip tube and base are stainless steel, the sleeve is the shell around it. Because it's a standalone component in the Varity system, the color choice doesn't lock in the setup forever.

Individually adjustable draw
Moze built the Varity around one idea: the dip tube and smoke column can both be separated, and from this separability comes how the shisha feels when you draw on it. Moze frames the range with a more direct pull on one side and a softer draw on the other – which build leads to which result is deliberately left undefined by the manufacturer. You find that out in your own sessions, and that's exactly what Moze means when it talks about "your shisha, your style."
On top of that come two more adjustment options. The diffuser at the lower end of the dip tube makes the draw quieter and softer and is swappable as an individual part; the blow-off is designed as its own ring and can be set in two positions within the build. Extension segments also exist for the smoke column and dip tube, letting you lengthen the column and run it with the long sleeves – these aren't part of this shisha's scope of delivery, but they show how far the modular system goes.

Lounge or Squad? The comparison
The difference between the two models lies solely in the base: the Lounge base carries one hose connection, the Squad base four. Smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, charcoal plate and blow-off ring are the same components on both, height and weight too. That a multi-hose shisha generally smokes worse is a persistent myth – on the Squad, unused connections are simply capped, that's normal operation. So the question is simply how many people sit at the hose at once.
Within the Lounge there are three configurations to choose from: Clear Bowl (this one, clear glass), Frosted Bowl (satin-finished glass, otherwise identical in size and described word-for-word the same) and the smoke column set, which is delivered without a bowl, measures approx. 49 cm and weighs approx. 2.2 kg. Clear and Frosted differ exclusively in the glass look.
Perfect accessories for your Varity
Hose, mouthpiece, head, heat management device and charcoal you add yourself – here's where you'll find them:
- Hoses – one is enough, the Lounge Base only has one connection.
- Mouthpieces – when the two of you smoke together and pass the hose.
- Phunnel tobacco heads – sit over the seal on the smoke column.
- Attachments & HMDs – for heat management over the session.
- Natural charcoal – on the 19 cm plate there's room to set things down.
Who is this Varity suitable for?
One hose connection specifically means: this shisha is designed for you alone or for a second person to whom the hose gets passed. If you regularly sit as a group of four, you're better served by the Squad and its four connections.
Beyond that, the Varity is aimed at everyone who wants to not just light their shisha, but reconfigure it: splittable dip tube, splittable smoke column, replaceable diffuser, replaceable blow-off ring, replaceable plate. If you're looking for a shisha you set up once and never touch again, here you're paying for options you won't use. The light frosted sleeve suits everyone who prefers to keep the color accent calm rather than bold.
Care & construction
Run the smoke column, dip tube and bowl through warm water and a brush after the session, then let everything air dry before putting it back together. With clear glass you can see right away whether everything is really clean – that's the practical side effect of the clear bowl.
Aggressive or abrasive cleaners have no place on stainless steel, glass and the resin sleeve, they leave scratches and dull spots. During setup, briefly check the seals and tighten the screw bowl hand-tight; because the dip tube and smoke column are divisible, it's worth checking each individual connection.
That's why this Varity is the right choice
- Divisible dip tube and divisible smoke column – the draw results from your build, not from a fixed factory setting
- Accommodates push-fit and screw bowls; the Clear Bowl as a screw bowl is included at
- Blow-off as its own ring, positionable in two spots; diffuser at the dip tube end swappable
- Charcoal plate with a 19 cm diameter, also interchangeable
- Modular system: sleeve, smoke column, dip tube, plate, diffuser and blow-off ring are standalone components
- Clear glass bowl with 21.5 cm at its widest point and 26.5 cm height – water level always in view
- Stainless steel build, approx. 52 cm tall, approx. 4.1 kg, size class Large
Small inclusions, such as air bubbles, cannot be ruled out in the hand-crafted glass of the bowl and are not grounds for a complaint. The same applies to slight color deviations from the product image, as well as differences in the height of the bowl base.

Which bowl and which tobacco head fit this Varity Lounge?
How big and how heavy is the Varity Lounge in Wavy Frosted?
With the bowl attached it stands at approx. 52 cm and weighs approx. 4.1 kg. The dip tube has a 12 mm inner diameter, the smoke column 11 mm, the charcoal plate measures 19 cm. The clear bowl is 21.5 cm at its widest point, 26.5 cm high, and has a neck opening of 4.2 cm, or 7 cm including the adapter.
What is included in the scope of delivery?
How do I adjust the draw?
The dip tube and smoke column are separable, so you decide through the setup how your Varity feels when you draw on it. Moze describes the range as a more direct pull or a softer draw, but doesn't assign a specific result to any particular setup. Take your time trying out the combinations, switching them around only takes a few steps.
How does the blow-off on the Varity work?
On the Varity, the blow-off is designed as its own ring and is therefore a replaceable component. It works with balls, 7 mm in the base and 11 mm in the hose adapter, and can be placed in two positions during setup: up under the charcoal plate or down at the base. Moze does not specify what technical effect each position has, so we won't claim anything about it either.
What sets the Lounge apart from the Squad?
Only the base: the Lounge has one hose connection, the Squad four. Smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, charcoal plate, and blow-off ring are identical on both, as are the approx. 52 cm and approx. 4.1 kg. So neither smokes better than the other, it's purely about how many people need their own hose at the same time.
Is the Varity suitable as a first shisha of your own?
Yes, with one honest caveat: the basic setup is straightforward, but the real appeal lies in reconfiguring it, and that only becomes clear with a bit of comparative experience. As a beginner you get a complete shisha including bowl and seals; you'll still need to add hose, head, charcoal and heat management device.
How do I clean the Varity properly?
Rinse smoke column, dip tube and bowl with warm water and a brush after the session and then let everything dry well. Aggressive or abrasive agents have no place on the stainless steel, the glass or the resin sleeve, they leave scratches and dull spots. When reassembling, briefly check the seals, they ensure a tight build.
