Moze Varity Lounge Silver – Frosted Bowl – Wavy Blue Shisha
Blue with texture instead of glossy black: on this Moze Varity Lounge Silver, a sleeve of acrylic/epoxy resin with a wave structure in Wavy Blue sits on a base of natural-silver stainless steel. It measures approx. 52 cm, weighs approx. 4.1 kg, and has exactly one hose connection as the Lounge Base. The special thing about the Varity: the dip tube and smoke column are splittable, you decide via the setup yourself how direct or smooth the draw turns out. Add to that the satin Frosted Bowl with a 21.5 cm diameter. Suited for anyone looking for a large shisha for sessions alone or as a pair.
Anyone choosing a Varity is above all buying a modular system: smoke column, dip tube, sleeve, charcoal plate, diffuser and blow-off ring are independent components, which Moze also sells individually. In this version, a Wavy Blue sleeve sits on a base of stainless steel in natural silver, plus the satin-finished Frosted Bowl.
Technically it's the Lounge version of the series: a base with exactly one hose connection, made for sessions alone or with one other person. Fully assembled the shisha stands approx. 52 cm tall and weighs approx. 4.1 kg. It's built from stainless steel, glass and acrylic/epoxy resin; the box contains smoke column, charcoal plate, the Frosted Bowl and the seals.
Design & craftsmanship: Wavy Blue on Silver
Here, a single component carries the look: the sleeve made of blue acrylic/epoxy resin, whose surface is executed as a wave structure instead of running smooth. Above and below it, the stainless steel remains visible uncoated in natural silver, so the shisha reads as two clearly separated material levels – bare metal and colored resin.
The included bowl is satin-finished glass instead of clear: the view of the water stays muted, leaving the sleeve's blue as the only bold color in the setup. The glass is thick-walled, wide in the body and tapers into a long, narrow neck. Moze offers sleeves in Short and Long, by the way – the long version requires additional extension segments on the smoke column, which aren't part of this set.

Individually adjustable draw
Moze describes the core of the Varity like this: because both the dip tube and the smoke column are separable, you decide for yourself how your Varity feels when smoking. As the range, the manufacturer names a more direct draw on one side and a softer pull on the other. Which setup leads to which result is deliberately left undefined by Moze – you try out the variations and stick with the one that suits you.
Two more components come into play in this setup. The diffuser at the lower end of the dip tube makes the draw quieter and softer; it has nothing to do with smoke volume. On the Varity, the blow-off is its own ring, which the product photos show in two mounting positions: up top under the charcoal plate or down at the base. Both parts are interchangeable because Moze sells them separately.

Lounge or Squad? The comparison
The Varity is available with two bases. The Lounge Base, fitted here, has one hose connection; the Squad Base has four. Everything else is identical: the same smoke column, the same dip tube, the same diffuser, the same blow-off ring, the same plates – and the same 52 cm at 4.1 kg. The choice isn't therefore a question of performance, but of how many people you want to smoke with. Unused connections on the Squad are simply capped off.
Within the Lounge line, this variant differs from the Clear Bowl version only in the glass finish: clear there, satin-finished here. Both bowls are the same size. And if you'd rather choose the bowl yourself, go for the smoke column set – it comes without a glass bowl, measures approx. 49 cm without one and weighs approx. 2.2 kg.
Perfect accessories for your Varity
Since the scope of delivery ends at shisha, bowl, charcoal plate and seals, you're still missing a few parts for the first session:
- Hoses – one is enough, the Lounge base has exactly one connection.
- Mouthpieces – handy for sessions for two, when everyone has their own.
- Phunnel tobacco heads – the head is placed onto the smoke column via a head seal.
- Attachments & HMDs – for heat management above the charcoal.
- Natural charcoal – the 19 cm plate offers plenty of space for that.
Who is this Varity suitable for?
The Lounge Base with a single hose connection makes things clear: this Varity is built for sessions alone or as a pair. If you regularly smoke in a bigger group, you're better served by the Squad Base with its four connections.
It's also interesting for anyone who doesn't just want a finished shisha but likes to tinker with the setup: separable dip tube, separable smoke column and replaceable parts like diffuser, blow-off ring and charcoal plate put real adjustment options in your hands. At approx. 52 cm it belongs to the large class – plan the space for it.
Care & construction
To clean it you take the shisha apart – the very modularity that helps with the draw also makes rinsing easier. Clean the smoke column, dip tube and bowl with warm water and a brush of matching length. Aggressive or abrasive cleaners have no place on stainless steel, satin glass and the resin sleeve, as they can dull the surfaces.
Afterward let everything dry well before reassembling, and keep an eye on the seals – they are wear parts. During setup you screw the bowl on via the adapter, insert the dip tube, and put the 19 cm charcoal plate on; the tobacco head and hose come last.
That's why this Varity is the right choice
- Split dip tube (12 mm inner diameter) and split smoke column (11 mm): you set the build yourself, and with it your own draw behavior.
- Accepts push-fit and screw bowls – the included frosted bowl is a screw bowl.
- Blow-off as its own ring, mountable in two installation positions according to the product photos.
- Diffuser at the end of the dip tube, available separately and thus replaceable.
- Charcoal plate with a 19 cm diameter, also replaceable.
- Lounge Base with one hose connection for sessions alone or for two.
- Sleeve made of acrylic/epoxy resin in Wavy Blue on stainless steel in natural silver.
- Satin Frosted Bowl with a widest diameter of 21.5 cm is included.
Small inclusions in the glass of the bowl, for example air bubbles, can't be ruled out in hand-crafted manufacturing and are not grounds for a complaint. The same applies to slight color deviations from the product photo as well as differences in the height of the bowl base.

Which bowl fits the Moze Varity Lounge - push-fit or screw bowl?
Both. Moze explicitly designs the Varity for push-fit and screw bowls. The included Frosted Bowl is a screw bowl with adapter, so you don't need anything extra to get started. For push-fit bowls, Moze offers its own push-fit bowl adapter, sold separately and not included here; brand-wide, Moze designs its models for the common 45 mm push-fit bowls.
How big and how heavy is this Varity?
Fully assembled it measures approx. 52 cm and weighs approx. 4.1 kg. The inner diameter of the dip tube is 12 mm, that of the smoke column 11 mm, and the charcoal plate has a diameter of 19 cm. The Frosted Bowl is 21.5 cm wide at its widest point and 26.5 cm tall, its neck opening measures 4.2 cm, or 7 cm including the adapter.
What's included in the scope of delivery and what's missing?
How do I adjust the draw?
About the setup. The dip tube and smoke column are separable, and you decide how to put them together. Moze describes the range as anything from a more direct draw to a softer pull, but doesn't assign a fixed result to any combination. So it's best to try the variants yourself and stick with the one that suits you.
How does the blow-off work on the Varity?
The blow-off is built as its own ring and is therefore a replaceable part, which Moze also sells separately. The valve works with balls: 7 mm in the base, 11 mm in the hose adapter. The product photos show the ring in two mounting positions, at the top under the charcoal plate and at the bottom on the base.
What sets the Lounge apart from the Squad?
Only the base, and with it the number of hose connections: Lounge 1, Squad 4. Smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, blow-off ring, and charcoal plate as well as height and weight are identical on both. So it's not about performance, but about how many of you are sitting around the shisha.
Is the Varity suitable for beginners?
Yes, with one caveat. The setup is the usual one of bowl, dip tube, smoke column, tobacco head and hose, and is therefore also doable as a first shisha of your own. The divisibility only pays off if you actually use it: if you never reconfigure, you're paying for a feature you leave unused.
How do I clean the shisha properly?
Disassemble, then clean the smoke column, dip tube and bowl with warm water and a brush. Skip aggressive or abrasive agents, as they can damage stainless steel, satin glass and the resin sleeve. Then let everything dry well and check the seals for cracks before reassembling.
