Moze Varity Lounge Silver – Frosted Bowl – Wavy Mint Shisha

Mint green on natural silver: this Lounge version's resin sleeve puts a light, cool tone on a base of bare stainless steel, without coloring the rest of the shisha. Underneath, the full Varity mechanics are at work – a model in which Moze runs every essential component individually and has made both the dip tube and smoke column splittable.

The Lounge base comes with one hose connection and thus orients the shisha toward sessions alone or for two. With the bowl attached, it comes in at approx. 52 cm in height and approx. 4.1 kg in weight. Materially, stainless steel, glass and acrylic/epoxy resin come together; the scope of delivery includes the smoke column, charcoal plate, the satin-finished Frosted Bowl and the seals.

Design & craftsmanship: Wavy Mint on Silver

The sleeve is made of acrylic/epoxy resin and carries the wave structure shared by all Wavy versions in the series. In Mint it turns out milder than with the bold tones: the color stays pastel and sits alongside the natural silver of the base instead of covering it. Above and below the sleeve the stainless steel continues uncoated.

The bowl to go with it is satin-finished instead of clear and keeps the lower half of the shisha bright and calm. Specifically, it measures 21.5 cm at its widest point and 26.5 cm in height, with a neck opening of 4.2 cm, or 7 cm with the adapter. The glass is thick-walled and transitions from a wide body into a long, narrow neck. Moze offers sleeves in Short and Long – the long version requires extension segments on the smoke column, which are not included here.

Individually adjustable draw

The Varity is the model where Moze put customizability above everything else. The manufacturer sums it up this way: through the splittable dip tube and smoke column, you determine yourself how your Varity feels when smoking. The stated range is between a more direct draw and a softer pull – without Moze specifying which combination leads where. You find that assignment out for yourself, and that's exactly the idea behind it.

There are also two interchangeable components in the smoke path. The diffuser at the lower end of the dip tube makes the draw quieter and softer – it has no effect on the smoke volume. The blow-off is an independent ring that Moze lists separately; the product photos show it fitted both at the top under the charcoal plate and at the bottom on the base.

Lounge or Squad? The comparison

The difference lies solely in the base. This Lounge Base has one hose connection, the Squad Base four. Smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, blow-off ring and charcoal plate are the same components on both models, as are height and weight. So you're deciding on the group size, not the performance – free connections on the Squad are closed off during use.

For the bowl question, this applies: Clear and Frosted are separated only by the glass look, the dimensions are the same. If you'd rather pick your own bowl, go for the smoke column set, which is delivered without a glass bowl, measures about 49 cm without it and weighs about 2.2 kg.

Perfect accessories for your Varity

For a ready-to-go session, after unpacking you still need the consumables and add-on parts:

• Hoses – one per session, the lounge base doesn't have more connections.
• Mouthpieces – useful if two of you are smoking from one hose.
• Phunnel tobacco heads – are placed on the smoke column via a head seal.
• Natural charcoal – fits comfortably on the 19 cm plate.
• Shisha tobacco – the variety determines the character of the session.

Who is this Varity suitable for?

A hose connection in practice means: this Varity is designed for you alone, or for two people who share one hose, or take turns with their own mouthpieces. For fixed larger groups, the same shisha is available with the Squad base and four connections.

In terms of color, the Mint version is for anyone who doesn't want to reach for the next black model. Technically, it's for those who'd rather configure the draw themselves than accept it as given: the dip tube and smoke column can be split, and the diffuser, blow-off ring and charcoal plate are replaceable components. At approx. 52 cm in height, it needs a fixed spot.

Care & construction

After the session you disassemble the shisha and rinse out smoke column, dip tube and bowl with warm water; for the long tubes and the narrow bowl neck you'll need a brush of matching length. Abrasive agents and aggressive cleaners are out, because they attack the surfaces of stainless steel, satin-finished glass and resin sleeve.

Then let the parts dry completely before putting them back together. The seals are wear parts: if they become hard or cracked, you replace them, otherwise the setup no longer sits tight. Assembly goes from bottom to top – bowl with adapter, dip tube, smoke column, charcoal plate, and finally tobacco head and hose.
