Moze Varity Lounge Silver – Frosted Bowl – Wavy Frosted Shisha
Tone on tone: on this Moze Varity Lounge Silver, the milky-bright sleeve in Wavy Frosted picks up on the satin-finish Frosted Bowl, while stainless steel in natural silver remains visible in between. The Lounge Base brings one hose connection; fully assembled the shisha stands about 52 cm tall and weighs about 4.1 kg. Divisible dip tube and divisible smoke column are the real reason for the Varity: you determine through the setup how direct or soft your draw turns out. Included are the 19 cm charcoal plate, the Frosted Bowl with a 21.5 cm diameter, and the seals.
This lounge version stays within one color space: the sleeve in Wavy Frosted is kept milky-light, putting it visually in line with the satin-finished bowl that comes with it. In between, the stainless steel base in natural silver remains visible – so there's no color contrast, just a gradation from light to bare metal.
Beneath the looks sits the full Varity engineering: splittable dip tube, splittable smoke column, replaceable diffuser and a blow-off built as its own ring. The Lounge base contributes one hose connection. Assembled, the shisha comes to approx. 52 cm and approx. 4.1 kg; the scope of delivery includes the smoke column, charcoal plate, the Frosted Bowl and the seals. Materials are stainless steel, glass and acrylic/epoxy resin.
Design & finish: Wavy Frosted on Silver
The sleeve is made of acrylic/epoxy resin and carries the wave structure shared by all Wavy versions in the series. In this light tone it works less through color and more through light and shadow. Because the sleeve is neither solid black nor boldly colorful, it's mainly the edge between resin and bare stainless steel that stands out – the only visible material boundary on the assembled shisha.
The Frosted Bowl picks up on this theme: satin-finished instead of clear glass, thick-walled, with a wide body that tapers into a long, narrow neck. Its widest diameter is 21.5 cm, the bowl itself is 26.5 cm tall. Important for the comparison with the Clear version: the difference is purely visual, the dimensions are the same for both bowls. Moze offers sleeves in Short and Long, with Long requiring additional extension segments on the smoke column, which aren't part of this set.

Individually adjustable draw
The sentence with which Moze explains the Varity essentially reads: because dip tube and smoke column are both splittable, you decide for yourself how your Varity feels when smoking. The manufacturer frames this between a more direct pull and a softer draw, but doesn't assign a specific result to either setup variant. In practice that means: reconfigure, pull, compare – and stick with the configuration that suits you.
The diffuser sits at the lower end of the dip tube. It provides a quieter, softer draw and is available as a separate part, so it can be swapped out. The blow-off ring is likewise an independent component; in the product photos it appears in two mounting positions – once at the top under the charcoal plate, once at the bottom on the base.

Lounge or Squad? The comparison
Two bases, one difference: the Squad base has four hose connections, while the Lounge base fitted here has one. Smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, blow-off ring and charcoal plate are the same parts on both, as are height and weight. So more connections don't mean more or less performance, just simply more spots on the shisha; unused connections are capped on the Squad.
For the bowl you have three options: the Clear version with clear glass, this Frosted version with satin-finished glass – both the same size – or the smoke column set with no bowl at all, which measures approx. 49 cm and weighs approx. 2.2 kg without one. With the set, you pick the bowl yourself.
Perfect accessories for your Varity
Shisha, bowl, charcoal plate and seals are included – everything that happens in the session in between, you choose yourself:
- Phunnel tobacco heads – the head sits on the smoke column via a head seal.
- Shisha tobacco – the flavor decides the session more than any component does.
- Attachments & HMDs – for controlled heat above the tobacco.
- Natural charcoal – matches the 19 cm charcoal plate.
- Hoses – exactly one is needed, the Lounge Base has no more connections.
Who is this Varity suitable for?
If you're looking for a large shisha that isn't black and still stays understated, this combination fits: light sleeve, satin-finished glass, bare stainless steel in between. With one hose connection it's designed for solo rounds and sessions for two.
It's less suitable if you're regularly planning for larger groups – for that there's the same shisha with the Squad Base and four connections. If, on the other hand, you like to rebuild and reconfigure, the Varity plays to its real strength: the separable components are the whole reason this model exists. At approx. 52 cm tall, it needs a permanent spot where it's allowed to stay.
Care & construction
With the Varity, cleaning mainly means: disassemble. The parts you separate anyway to adjust the draw go individually under warm water; for the smoke column and dip tube, use a brush of matching length, and a thinner one for the narrow bowl neck. Steer clear of aggressive cleaners and abrasives, as they attack the stainless steel, glass, and resin sleeve.
Let all parts dry before assembly – it's best to let the smoke column drip dry standing up, so no residual water remains inside. Check the seals regularly and replace them if they crack or harden: they're what keep the setup airtight. Assembly goes from bottom to top, with tobacco head and hose last.
That's why this Varity is the right choice
- Light resin sleeve in Wavy Frosted and satin-finish bowl in one line, with stainless steel in natural silver in between.
- Divisible smoke column (11 mm inner diameter) and divisible dip tube (12 mm): the build determines the draw, not chance.
- Push-fit and screw bowls possible; the included Frosted Bowl is screwed on.
- Blow-off as its own ring component, shown in two mounting positions in the product photos.
- Diffuser at the end of the dip tube for a quieter draw, replaceable.
- Charcoal plate with 19 cm diameter.
- One hose connection – clearly built for solo and two-person sessions.
- approx. 52 cm tall and approx. 4.1 kg: large size class.
Small inclusions in the bowl's glass, such as air bubbles, can't be ruled out with hand-crafted production and are not grounds for a complaint. The same applies to slight color deviations from the product photo and to differences in the height of the bowl base.

Does every bowl fit the Varity Lounge, or do I need a specific one?
Moze designs the Varity for both push-fit bowls and screw bowls. Included is the Frosted Bowl, a screw bowl with adapter - so you're missing nothing to get started. If you want to run a push-fit bowl later, Moze sells its own push-fit bowl adapter for that, which is not included in the scope of delivery here; brand-wide, the Moze models are designed for the standard 45 mm push-fit bowls.
Which tobacco head and which hose go with it?
The tobacco head is fitted onto the smoke column via a head seal as usual; Moze doesn't specify a particular size for it. You'll find common phunnel heads in our Phunnel category. One hose is enough, since the Lounge Base has exactly one hose connection.
What dimensions and weight does the shisha have?
With the bowl fitted it comes to about 52 cm in height and about 4.1 kg. The dip tube and smoke column have inner diameters of 12 mm and 11 mm respectively, and the charcoal plate measures 19 cm. The Frosted Bowl is 26.5 cm tall, 21.5 cm wide at its widest point, and has a neck opening of 4.2 cm, 7 cm with the adapter.
What's included and what do I still need to buy?
Included are the shisha with Lounge base and Wavy Frosted sleeve, the 19 cm charcoal plate, the Moze Varity Bowl Frosted and the seals. Separately you need hose, mouthpiece, tobacco head, charcoal, charcoal tongs and HMD. For further components like a push-fit bowl adapter, Moze doesn't give a delivery spec, so don't count on it.
How do I change the draw on the Varity?
By putting it together differently: both the dip tube and the smoke column are divisible. Moze states the range as a more direct draw and a softer pull, but doesn't specify which setup leads where. So you test the combinations yourself - that's exactly what the model is made for.
What is the blow-off ring for?
It's the shisha's valve and on the Varity it's built as its own ring, which Moze also offers separately. It works with balls: 7 mm in the base and 11 mm in the hose adapter. Depending on the setup, the ring sits either at the top under the charcoal plate or at the bottom on the base, as shown in the product photos.
Clear Bowl, Frosted Bowl or smoke column set - what's the difference?
Clear and Frosted differ only in the glass finish: clear versus frosted. The bowls are identical in size, nothing changes on the technical side. The smoke column set, on the other hand, comes without a glass bowl, measures approx. 49 cm without it and weighs approx. 2.2 kg - there you choose the bowl yourself.
Is the Varity a good choice as your first own shisha?
The setup is standard and quick to understand, so there's nothing against it. But honestly: the surcharge for a divisible dip tube and divisible smoke column only pays off if you actually experiment with it. If you want to set up a shisha once and never touch it again, you don't need this feature.
How do I care for stainless steel, glass and resin sleeve?
All three materials tolerate warm water and a suitably sized brush. Aggressive cleaners and abrasives don't belong on them, as they can permanently dull the surfaces. Afterward let everything dry completely and check the seals so the setup stays airtight.
