Silver Steel is the version of the Varity with no colored sleeve at all: solid natural-silver stainless steel throughout, plus the satin Frosted Bowl made of glass. The Lounge Base comes with one hose connection, assembled the shisha stands approx. 52 cm tall and weighs approx. 4.1 kg. Its main argument remains the splittable setup: the dip tube and smoke column can be split individually, so you decide for yourself how the draw feels. The bowl and seals are included in the scope of delivery, both push-fit and screw bowls fit. Made for anyone who wants metal instead of color while still tweaking the setup.
No color, no plastic shell: in the Silver Steel version, the Moze Varity Lounge stays stainless steel in natural silver throughout, paired with the satin-finished Frosted Bowl. Design & Finish: Silver Steel on Silver Base
Bei Silver Steel entfällt der farbige Sleeve ersatzlos – Rauchsäule und Base bestehen aus

Statt eines Farbkontrasts arbeitet diese Ausführung mit dem Metallglanz selbst: Kanten, Absetzungen
und der Übergang zum Kohleteller bleiben als Formsprache sichtbar.
Die satinierte Frosted Bowl bricht diesen Metalleindruck mit einer matten, lichtstreuenden
Glasfläche. Wasserstand und Tauchrohr sind dadurch nur schemenhaft zu erkennen; wer sie sehen will,
nimmt die Clear-Variante. Die Bowl selbst misst 21,5 cm an der breitesten Stelle und 26,5 cm in der
Höhe und läuft in einen sehr langen, schmalen Hals aus.

Individually adjustable draw
Der Grund, warum die Varity so heißt, wie sie heißt, steckt in ihrer Zerlegbarkeit. Moze
schreibt: „Dadurch, dass sowohl Tauchrohr als auch Rauchsäule individuell teilbar sind,
entscheidest du selbst, wie sich deine Varity beim Rauchen anfühlt.“ Genannt wird ein Rahmen von
einem direkteren Anzug bis zu einem weicheren Durchzug – ohne Zuordnung, welcher Aufbau wohin
führt. Das musst du selbst herausfinden.
Ergänzend gibt es zwei Bauteile, die den Charakter mitbestimmen: den Diffusor am unteren
Tauchrohrende, der den Zug leiser und sanfter macht und sich als Einzelteil tauschen lässt, sowie den
Blow-Off-Ring. Er sitzt je nach Aufbau oben unter dem Kohleteller oder unten an der Base; im Ventil
arbeiten Kugeln mit 7 mm in der Base und 11 mm im Schlauchadapter.

Lounge or Squad? The comparison
Die Serie kennt zwei Bases: die Lounge Base mit einem Schlauchanschluss und die Squad Base mit vier.
Alles andere – Rauchsäule, Tauchrohr, Diffusor, Kohleteller, Blow-Off-Ring, Höhe und
Gewicht – ist bei beiden Modellen gleich. Die Entscheidung hängt also nur daran, zu wie vielen
ihr raucht; an der Squad werden ungenutzte Anschlüsse verschlossen, was völlig normal ist.

Who is this Varity suitable for?
Ein Schlauchanschluss deckt Sessions allein oder zu zweit ab. Für feste Vierer-Runden ist die Squad
Base die passendere Wahl – alles oberhalb der Base wäre identisch, du bekommst also dieselbe
Technik mit mehr Anschlüssen.
Silver Steel ist die Ausführung für alle, die kein Farbthema in der Wohnung wollen und Metall
lieber pur sehen. Sie passt außerdem zu Rauchern, die ohnehin viel umbauen: Da kein Sleeve die
Rauchsäule verdeckt, bleiben die Steckstellen der teilbaren Bauteile direkt sichtbar.
Care & construction
Ohne Sleeve besteht außer der Bowl alles aus Edelstahl, was die Reinigung unkompliziert macht:
zerlegen, mit warmem Wasser und Bürste durchgehen, fertig. Für die 11-mm-Rauchsäule und das
12-mm-Tauchrohr brauchst du eine schmale Bürste, für den langen, engen Bowlhals eine lange.
Von scheuernden Mitteln und Stahlwolle solltest du die Finger lassen – sie hinterlassen auf
blankem Edelstahl sichtbare Spuren, und aggressive Reiniger sind auch für das Glas unnötig.
Danach alle Teile gründlich trocknen lassen und die Dichtungen ab und zu kontrollieren, damit der
Aufbau dicht bleibt.

Which bowl fits the Moze Varity Lounge Silver Steel?
The satin-finished Frosted Bowl is already included as a screw bowl. Beyond that, according to Moze the Varity is designed for both push-fit and screw bowls; Moze offers a push-fit bowl adapter separately, and the brand's models are designed for the standard 45 mm push-fit bowls. How tall and how heavy is this shisha?
It comes in at approx. 52 cm height and approx. 4.1 kg, putting it in the Large size class (over 50 cm). The dip tube measures 12 mm inside, the smoke column 11 mm, the charcoal plate 19 cm in diameter.
What is included in the scope of delivery?
The shisha with smoke column, dip tube and Lounge Base, the charcoal plate with 19 cm diameter, the Moze Varity Bowl Frosted and the seals. Hose, mouthpiece, tobacco head, charcoal, charcoal tongs and HMD are not included and are purchased separately.
How does the draw adjustability work?
It comes down to the setup: the dip tube and smoke column can each be split apart, and according to Moze this lets you decide for yourself how your Varity feels while smoking. The manufacturer describes the range as a more direct draw or a softer pull, without specifying which setup leads to which result.
Where is the blow-off located and how is it built?
It's designed as its own blow-off ring and, depending on the setup, can sit at the top under the charcoal plate or at the bottom on the base. The valve works with balls: 7 mm in the base and 11 mm in the hose adapter. Because the ring is a standalone component, it can be replaced.
What's the difference between Silver Steel and the Wavy versions?
Only the surface material: Silver Steel is entirely stainless steel without a colored sleeve, the Wavy versions carry a colored acrylic/epoxy resin sleeve with a wave structure. Technically, the smoke column, dip tube, charcoal plate and blow-off are identical.
Frosted or Clear Bowl – which one should I get?
This is purely a matter of looks, both bowls are identical in size and share the same shape. With the Frosted Bowl the satin glass scatters the light and the water level is only faintly visible, while with the Clear Bowl it stays easy to read.
Is the Varity Lounge suitable for beginners?
Yes, getting started works without a hitch, since the bowl and seals are included and a single hose connection is the simplest configuration. Do keep in mind, though, that the hose, head, charcoal and heat management device are still missing, and that the splittable setup only proves its worth once you try it.
How do I properly care for bare stainless steel?
Warm water, a soft brush and a soft cloth are entirely sufficient. You should avoid scouring agents, steel wool and aggressive cleaners, as they leave marks on the bare surface. After rinsing, let all parts dry thoroughly and check the seals occasionally.
