Blue with a wave structure, framed between two silver stainless steel sections: the resin sleeve is what sets this Moze Varity Lounge Silver apart from its siblings. Technically you get a shisha with one hose connection, about 52 cm setup height including the included clear glass bowl and about 4.1 kg weight. Divisible dip tube and divisible smoke column put the setup, and thus the draw resistance, in your hands. The charcoal plate measures 19 cm, and push-fit and screw bowls fit equally well. Wavy Blue refers to the sleeve: blue acrylic/epoxy resin with a running wave structure that occupies the middle section of the smoke column. Design & craftsmanship: Wavy Blue on Silver
The eye-catcher is the wave structure in the blue resin: it runs across the sleeve and breaks up the otherwise straight line of the smoke column. Natural silver stainless steel closes it off top and bottom – the charcoal plate and base stay uncoated, so blue only appears where the sleeve sits. That suits the clear glass bowl below, since it stays colorless and doesn't double up the color.
The sleeve is a standalone component of the Varity building system, not a paint job; Moze offers sleeves in Short and Long lengths. If you want to match hose and mouthpiece to each other in color, this model sets the tone: blue is the lead color, silver the neutral frame.

Individually adjustable draw
What makes the Varity special within the Moze range has nothing to do with the sleeve: both the dip tube and the smoke column are splittable. That lets you decide for yourself which combination the column stands in – and how the draw ends up feeling. Moze frames the range as "a more direct draw or a smoother pull" and deliberately leaves open which setup leads to which result.
The blow-off is also one of the moving parts. It's designed as a ring, is swappable, and can be set in two positions: up top under the charcoal plate or down at the base. Balls of 7 mm in the base and 11 mm in the hose adapter handle the valve function. A diffuser sits at the lower end of the dip tube, making the draw quieter and gentler, and it can be swapped out.

Lounge or Squad? The comparison
The dividing line runs at the base. Lounge means one hose connection, Squad means four; smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, blow-off ring and plate set are the same on both, as are the approx. 52 cm height and approx. 4.1 kg. Four connections don't smoke any better than one, they just allow several people to draw at the same time – unused connections are capped.
In the configuration, you choose between the Clear Bowl made of clear glass, as here, the Frosted Bowl with satin-finished glass at identical dimensions – the difference is purely visual – and the smoke column set, which comes without a bowl, measures about 49 cm, and weighs about 2.2 kg.

Who is this Varity suitable for?
It fits if your shisha should show color and you still don't want to give up the component freedom of the Varity. One hose connection covers sessions alone or for two, and the separable components give you reason to keep developing the setup over time instead of locking it in once.
It makes less sense in two cases: when three or four people regularly smoke at the same time – that's what the Squad Base is for – and when you're looking for a subtle, color-restrained shisha; then Silver Steel or Original Black is the more obvious choice. At approx. 52 cm in height and approx. 4.1 kg, it also needs a fixed spot.
Care & construction
To clean it, take apart the smoke column and dip tube, so you can reach every spot with the brush. Warm water is enough for metal and resin; the glass bowl is rinsed separately. Important with the resin sleeve: no abrasive pastes and no aggressive cleaners, or the surface of the wave structure will suffer.
Afterward let all parts dry completely and only then reassemble. The seals deserve a look as soon as the setup no longer sits cleanly – porous or torn seals are best replaced right away instead of searching elsewhere for the cause.

Which bowl, which head and which hose fit the Wavy Blue?
The clear screw bowl is included and is attached via its adapter; beyond that, the Varity is also designed for push-fit bowls according to Moze, for which Moze offers a separately available push-fit bowl adapter. As the push-fit bowl size, Moze designs its models for the usual 45 mm. For the tobacco head, commercially available Phunnel and funnel heads work with a matching seal, for the hose one is enough, because the Lounge base has only one connection.
How tall is the shisha with bowl and what does it weigh?
Fully assembled it's approx. 52 cm and approx. 4.1 kg. The bowl itself is 26.5 cm tall, 21.5 cm at its widest point, its neck opening measures 4.2 cm and 7 cm with adapter. Add to that a 12 mm inner diameter in the dip tube, 11 mm in the smoke column and a 19 cm diameter for the charcoal plate.
Is a hose included in the scope of delivery?
No. Moze supplies shisha, bowl and seals - hose, mouthpiece, tobacco head, charcoal, charcoal tongs and HMD are not included. The same applies to system parts like a second charcoal plate or the push-fit bowl adapter: they are not listed as included.
How do I influence the draw resistance?
On the setup: the smoke column and dip tube can be separated, so you can run different combinations. Moze describes the range as "a more direct draw or a softer pull", without assigning a result to any particular combination. Because everything is plugged together and not glued, you can return to a previous setup at any time.
How does the blow-off ring work?
The blow-off isn't a fixed detail of the base on the Varity, but its own ring that you can swap out. It can be mounted in two positions, either up under the charcoal plate or down at the base. Inside works a ball valve with 7 mm in the base and 11 mm in the hose adapter.
The Lounge with one connection, or rather the Squad with four?
That depends entirely on how many of you are smoking at once, because technically the two are identical: same smoke column, same dip tube, same diffuser, same blow-off ring, same approx. 52 cm and approx. 4.1 kg. For sessions with one to two people, the Lounge is the right base. Only once several people regularly want to pull at the same time does the Squad Base with four connections pay off.
Clear Bowl or Frosted Bowl – does one smoke differently than the other?
No, the only difference is the glass finish: clear versus satin. Both bowls are identical in size, i.e. 21.5 cm wide and 26.5 cm high, and change neither the height nor the weight of the shisha. Here you decide by looks, not by technique.
How do I properly clean the blue resin sleeve?
Warm water and a soft cloth are enough for the outside; for the interior passages of the column and dip tube, use a cleaning brush. Abrasive agents and aggressive cleaners should be avoided, as they can attack the resin surface with its wave structure. Afterward, let everything dry thoroughly and check the seals for cracks.
Is the Varity Lounge suitable for beginners?
The setup is straightforward and quick to finish with the included seals, so yes. It only takes a bit of patience for the core feature: it takes a few sessions until you've figured out which combination of column and dip tube suits you. Anyone who doesn't want that part, but is looking for a shisha for exactly one fixed setup, is better served with a simpler model.
