Moze Varity Lounge Silver – Clear Bowl – Wavy Frosted Shisha

On the Varity Lounge in Wavy Frosted, a light resin sleeve with an integrated wave relief sits on the silver stainless steel base – and because the included bowl is made of clear glass, this sleeve remains the only colored component on the entire setup. That's exactly what sets this combination apart from the Steel versions in the line, which get by entirely without a colored sleeve.

Underneath, the Lounge Base works with a hose connection, designed for sessions solo or for two. With the bowl attached, the shisha measures approx. 52 cm and weighs approx. 4.1 kg; stainless steel, glass and acrylic/epoxy resin are used. The box contains the smoke column, charcoal plate, the Clear Bowl and the seals.

Design & finish: Wavy Frosted on Silver

The sleeve gives this variant its name: a light, desaturated frosted finish made of acrylic/epoxy resin, with a wave running around it. The structure refracts the light at its edges, so the smoke column appears lighter or deeper depending on the viewing angle, without a second color coming into play.

All around, stainless steel remains visible in natural silver – base, charcoal plate and the connections are uncoated. Together with the colorless bowl glass, this results in a consistently bright shisha where you can keep an eye on the water level and bubble pattern at all times, because nothing tints the glass.

Individually adjustable draw

On the Varity, the smoke column and dip tube aren't fixed tubes but splittable assemblies. So you determine how the draw feels yourself through the setup. Moze describes the range as a more direct draw on one side and a softer pull on the other – which setup delivers which result is deliberately left undefined by the manufacturer. That remains your own trial series.

Then there's the blow-off, which here is designed as a standalone ring and, depending on the build, can be placed in two positions: up under the charcoal plate or down at the base. The valve works with balls, 7 mm in the base and 11 mm in the hose adapter. At the lower end of the dip tube sits a diffuser, which makes the draw quieter and smoother and can be swapped out as a single part.

Lounge or Squad? The comparison

Exactly one component separates Lounge and Squad: the base. The Lounge base has one hose connection, the Squad base four. Smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, charcoal plate and blow-off ring are the same parts on both, as are height and weight. Neither smokes better or worse because of that – unused connections on the Squad are simply closed off.

Within the Lounge series there are three configurations. This one comes with the Clear Bowl made of clear glass. The Frosted Bowl version has identical dimensions and differs only through the satin-finished glass. The smoke column set comes without a bowl, measures approx. 49 cm without it and weighs approx. 2.2 kg – there you choose the bowl yourself.

Who is this Varity suitable for?

The single hose connection makes clear what the Lounge is aiming for: sessions at home, alone or as a pair, without three connections sitting around closed off. If you regularly smoke as a group of four, you're better served by the Squad Base.

In terms of color, Wavy Frosted is the understated choice among the Wavy sleeves: texture yes, bold color no. That suits bright interiors and anyone who wants the wave look without committing to a particular color. And because the assembly can be taken apart, it's also for smokers who enjoy tinkering with their setup rather than just accepting it.

Care & construction

After the session, rinse the bowl, smoke column and dip tube with warm water and a brush. Aggressive or abrasive agents have no place on the resin sleeve and the stainless steel – they can make the Frosted finish go dull. Let all parts dry thoroughly afterward before reassembling them.

When assembling, it's worth checking the seals: if they sit cleanly, the shisha draws tight. Check them from time to time for cracks and porous spots, that's the most common cause of air leaks. Since the smoke column and dip tube are divisible, taking it apart to clean requires no tools.

Small inclusions in the glass, such as fine air bubbles, can't be ruled out in the bowl's hand-crafted manufacturing and are not grounds for a complaint. The same applies to slight color deviations from the product photo as well as differences in the height of the bowl base.
