Moze Varity Squad Black – Frosted Bowl – Wavy Frosted Shisha

A sleeve that picks up on the bowl: with the Wavy Frosted, the resin sleeve is milky and clouded, just like the satin-finished glass of the Frosted Bowl underneath. The combination is carried by the black Squad Base of the Moze Varity, which holds four hoses at once.

Design & Finish: Wavy Frosted on Black

Instead of a bold color tone, the Wavy Frosted works with texture. The resin is milky-tinted, so the wavy surface shows as a light-dark gradation rather than a glossy edge. Against the black-finished stainless steel of the base and charcoal plate, a clear break forms halfway up: light in the middle, dark at both ends.

Because the included bowl is also made of satin glass, the same matte line runs through the whole device. If you're after a glossy, reflective look, go for Black Steel instead; if you like matte surfaces, you're in the right place here.

Individually adjustable draw

Two components make the Varity adjustable: the dip tube is divisible, and so is the smoke column. That lets you determine what your setup looks like yourself. Moze sums up the possible results as a "more direct draw“ or a "softer pull“, but doesn't assign a specific result to any particular build. In practice that means: assemble, smoke a session, rebuild, compare.

The diffuser at the lower end of the dip tube is part of the unit and is replaceable; it makes the draw quieter and smoother, not smokier. The blow-off is realized as a separate ring and, depending on the setup, can sit above under the charcoal plate or below on the base.

Squad or Lounge? The comparison

The only structural difference between Squad and Lounge is the base: four hose connections here, one there. Smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, charcoal plate and blow-off ring come from the same parts shelf, height and weight are the same. Whether you connect one hose or four says nothing about smoke quality – unused connections are simply sealed.

Within the configurations, only the glass differs: the Clear Bowl is clear, this Frosted Bowl included here is satin-finished, the dimensions match. If you specifically want to order without a glass bowl, get the smoke column set at approx. 49 cm without a bowl and approx. 2.2 kg and buy the bowl separately.

Perfect accessories for your Varity

The shisha arrives ready to operate, but not ready to smoke – this is still missing:

• Hoses – one per occupied connection, so up to four here.
• Mouthpieces – your own mouthpiece for each person in the round.
• Phunnel tobacco heads – you need to choose the tobacco head and seal separately.
• Natural charcoal – Refill for the 19 cm charcoal plate.
• Shisha tobacco – so the first session doesn't fail because of the tobacco.

Who is this Varity suitable for?

This variant targets rounds where several hoses are in use at the same time: up to four people can use it without passing it around. Visually, it appeals to everyone who wants black broken up not by a loud pop of color but by a light, matte one.

It's manageable for beginners, since you can also just assemble it and smoke. The real appeal, though – swapping segments, repositioning the blow-off, changing the bowl type – only pays off once you know what you're comparing. If you smoke solo long-term, the Lounge Base with its single connection is the better fit.

Care & construction

After the session, first clean the water out of the bowl, then clean the smoke column and dip tube with warm water and a brush. Keep away abrasives, steel wool and aggressive chemicals: the resin sleeve carries scratches permanently, and on satin glass every damaged spot catches the eye immediately.

Afterward let all parts air-dry openly before you plug or screw them back together. The seals are a wear part: if they're porous or sit loosely, replace them instead of spending a long time troubleshooting the setup.
