Moze Varity Squad Black – Frosted Bowl – Wavy Mint Shisha

Mint green against black: the Sleeve Wavy Mint sets the only color accent on this Moze Varity, everything else stays in black. Below, the Squad Base works with four hose connections, above sits the charcoal plate with a 19 cm diameter.

The set includes the Frosted Bowl made of satin-finish glass. Fully assembled, the shisha measures approx. 52 cm at approx. 4.1 kg; inside, the dip tube is 12 mm, the smoke column 11 mm. Built from stainless steel, acrylic/epoxy resin and glass. What's additionally needed – hose, head, charcoal – is not included.

Design & Finish: Wavy Mint on Black

Mint is a tone that can quickly look garish on a black background. That doesn't happen here because the resin is dyed through and the surface is waved: the wave crests appear lighter, the troughs darker, so the color tone stays graduated within itself instead of glowing evenly.

The sleeve encases the smoke column as its own component, which Moze also sells separately. Beneath it sits the satin Frosted bowl: matte glass, wide body, long narrow neck. Color in the middle, calm surfaces above and below – that's the principle behind this version.

Individually adjustable draw

The Varity has two core components that can be split: dip tube and smoke column. Instead of a fixed factory geometry, you get a configuration you put together yourself. Moze describes the range as either a „more direct pull“ or a „softer draw“, but doesn't specify which arrangement leads where – that's left to your own experimenting.

Two other points are also not fixed: the diffuser at the end of the dip tube is interchangeable and makes the draw quieter and smoother. And the blow-off ring can be mounted, depending on the build, either up under the charcoal plate or down at the base.

Squad or Lounge? The comparison

Between Squad and Lounge there's exactly one component: the base. The Squad has four hose connections, the Lounge one. Everything above that – smoke column, dip tube, diffuser, charcoal plate, blow-off ring – is the same on both models, including approx. 52 cm height and approx. 4.1 kg weight. Connections you don't need are simply closed off; that's not a disadvantage.

The bowl configurations are purely about the glass look: clear for the Clear bowl, satin for the Frosted bowl supplied here, with identical dimensions. If you'd rather pick the bowl yourself, go for the smoke column set – approx. 49 cm without bowl, approx. 2.2 kg, bowl not included.

Perfect accessories for your Varity

For the Varity to be ready to use, a few parts are still missing:

• Hoses – one per connection, so four when fully occupied.
• Mouthpieces – more hygienic when several people are sitting at the device.
• Phunnel tobacco heads – head and seal don't come with the shisha.
• Attachments & HMDs – keep the heat constant throughout the session.
• Bowls – in case you need a second bowl or a replacement later.

Who is this Varity suitable for?

It's made for groups: four connections mean up to four people can have their own hose at the same time. In terms of color, it targets anyone who finds all-black devices too reserved, but a neon tone too much.

If you're buying your first own shisha, you'll manage fine – plug it together, screw on the bowl, done. The Varity's real value, though, lies in reconfiguring it, and you'll only notice that once you directly compare two configurations. If you almost always smoke alone, the Lounge Base with one connection is the more natural choice.

Care & construction

Warm water and a brush are enough for the smoke column and dip tube; the bowl is rinsed out after every session. Hands off scouring powder, steel wool and harsh cleaners – stainless steel, satin-finish glass and the resin sleeve won't thank you, and scratches in the mint stay visible.

Let everything dry completely before reassembly. Briefly check the seals: if they sit firmly, the device is airtight; if they're hard or torn, they need replacing. Only connect the segments of the dip tube and smoke column hand-tight.
